It's all up to the person that designs the track, the person driving doesn't have to invent anything, there's just a pile of dirt, and some cars lined up in a row, you CANNOT do more than one thing on that. ALL you do is line up the car and press the gas, HOW THE HELL IS THAT CALLED FREESTYLE, freestyle is about creativity and skill, this has neither.
Because it's Monster Jam and Monster Jam fans judging the event. Both the show and the fans are so biased toward Grave Digger and especially Maximum Destruction that the fans deliberately score everyone else low and then get overly generous when those two come out.
I wouldn't be surprised if Live Nation pressures the judges to do so, too.
Whats up.. Live Nations indeed does tell the judges to score the early runs low on purpose.. I spoke to Jack Koberna (driver of Cyborg)and he told me all about it... thats one of the reason why certain monster truck drivers won't race for Live Nations...
It's not a mystery that the USHRA rigs most of their events at many venues... just because they tell their judges to score higher or lower don't mean the most popular truck or going to win racing/ freestyle. next time you go to a monster truck event (doesn't matter what promoter) ask them about it and see what they tell you. if so then grave digger would've won at world finals 8 but he didn't captain's curse won so that prove that SOMEtime it's real fan are the judges
