  • for my jeep, without the nut, $6, with the nut, $16.. seriously? 10 bucks for a nut? for 10 bucks i can get a filter wrench and keep it. the nut is a good idea, but the price, not so much.

  • @scarekrow9 The nut is not a $10 cost. The HP series oil filters are a Premium oil filter. A $6 oil filter is a basic filter; there are many more differences. For less expensive filters, check out our Pro Series (PS) oil filters, which are a mid-grade and still better than a basic.

  • Does this increase performance like acceleration or anything?

  • @Aero2121 Our oil filters feature a high flow and high efficient synthetic media for superior engine protection. Acceleration is not affected by the oil filter, only longevity of the engine.

  • I only use these filters now

  • @miatageekscott - How long have they been manufacturing oil filters? What is their efficiency rating? At what micron level do they filter to?

  • @HiTechOilCo I really don't know...

  • @miatageekscott its the same argument he uses in EVERY post. And why? because you can get damn good filters for 5-10 bucks less than the stuff he sells.

  • @HiTechOilCo they have been manufacturing for over 25 years and efficiency rating is 99.6 percent and they filter down 8-10 microns in size

  • tht great
