I followed them for 20 years. I take heroic pictures for the newspaper and the cops were a waste of time.

Again and again FDNY would selflessly snatch baby after baby from the jaws of death. After the 50th time, a certain awe sets in.

I told this to Tokyo Rescue when I trained with them briefly and they asked who was better.

They don't get 10 story tower ladder jobs where they have to stand on tiptoes to grab a panicked 300 pound woman with flames licking at her ass.
