This is why Chuck makes a much better protagonist and a great antagonist. Like batman Chuck is a man who walks a thin line between madness and humanity, He's been through such incredible hardships like losing his wife and surviving 2 outbreaks, his daughter is the one thing that keeps him together, the one thing he has to live for. Just like alfred does for Bruce.

Also: If you watch the trailers for this, this whole situation is Frank saying what WOULD have happened if he was the hero instead of Chuck, so, although everyone else here has said it, Chuck is not actually dead.

Let TK get infected: Chuck runs back in the safe house to get Katey's backpack, but a zombified TK pulls him into the elevator and he gets surrounded by zombies. She presumably lives, but Chuck dies.

@LarryBundyJr I second your tactics against Chuck but I should say that be careful. Because when you get Chuck stuck on a wall, there's a glitch when his bike suddenly jumps a bit backwards and will damage you almost as much as Sullivan's uppercut in Chuck's story.
