@westeh What a peculiar comment, though it DOES rather bolster (and I LOVE cutting and pasting) my opinion that it seems that unlike in other countries, where people say things like "(s)he said his/her first word - 'Mama'", in Australia, people say "that little cunt just said his - notice the lack of a female pronoun - first word - 'fuck'"...:-) (Yes, the rest of the world laughs and laughs at your apparent lack of ability to say ANYTHING without swearing.)
Brilliant brilliant brilliant cars!

Awesome cars for their time. I've owned 2 and they would not die - provided you kept topping the oil up weekly :)

I have a 1979 Mazda 626 for spare parts.
It's the same colour as the one in the advert, but it's manual, not automatic.

I wish someone had those old Toyota commercials from the early 70's sung to the tune of "Very good year"
"When you were 35
it was a very good year
it was a very good year for blue blooded girls
of independant means
Now you ride a limousine
A chauffeur to drive
You're 45
and it's a very good year.."

I was here looking for exactly that commercial....

I've also been looking for the same commercial for years - I love it and wish I could find it too!

Do a search for "Toyota car range" and you will find the ad. Good luck
