@clutch2005 In Charleston, South Carolina in Spring 2005. It was replaced by the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge in July 2006. The new bridge is the largest Cable Stayed Bridge in the Western Hemisphere ranking at #39. I live in Charleston.

@amtraklover They did it in sections, and a crane did the remaining portions. This was in 2005, and planned since 2001.
