  • They need to take cameras out of cellphones...

  • The bobby songs are fine, but the Jerry riffs and the jerry songs are just over! He's gone...........:( Miss him every day

  • They had found their groove by this point, that much is clear. I loved the Easter Dead Greensboro theme, and it was great to see so many friends, but I'd bet the farm that this show was better. 4-12 seemed "to bouncy" like they were piping the mix through a nitrous tank. IDK. I love me some good old Grateful Dead.

  • Simply AWESOME!!!

  • i did so many balloons in the lot before this show. good times had by all.

  • Dig that 70's porno mustache, give 'em hell Bob !!! I think you are enjoying the ride, ease up for a few Bob haters and smile a while...

  • one of the tightest versions of any song they played on this tour. I don't know why I wanted to get a "Bucket" so bad, but was fired up when it came up! think what you will about how they disgrace Jerry's name and all with what they've done after his passing, but I still love to hear the best rock and roll music ever laid out... check out the Cold Rain and Snow from the 5-1-09 Philly show (1st night). 2nd set. another gem IMO. also Alligator>Caution if yer down for a good jam (also 2nd set 5-1)

  • I hope they tour again soon. But maybe bring Jackie Greene in so Phil won't have to sing so much. His vocals can really kill the songs. O.k. Box of Rain and Pride of Cucamonga are nice but come on Phil. Enough!!!!

  • My Parents died but i still visit my brothers and sisters....same here....have fun Enjoy the ride

  • Cant wait to celebrate 4th of July with you at ROTHBURY!

  • You are so lucky you got to see them here, it was an excellent set list & energetic show, I just saw them last night in LA & the set list was short & not very good (hate to say), but I was disappointed in the choice of songs & not very energetic. There were 40,000 people at LA Forum. But good thing I got to see Jerry a few times when he was alive & I have a tribute band here that I love that plays all the songs every week, endorsed by Jerry, Bob & Phil, called Cubensis. Good Day!! Peace!

  • This soundz fukin amazing

  • actually they are not the grateful dead...anymore

just the dead,..and{ it is what it is}..the sound on you tube sucks but live its great i know this because i was there i dont just spout out uninformed opinions from my work cubicle...

  • Oh EXCUSE Me to all hell, it is what it is, brillant. What I find amusing about the band if I may say with all your permisson sir deah head. Is that Jerry Garcia was the soul of the Grateful Dead and for better or worse these bands do nothing to enhance that legacy, but that's just what I think, so thank the powers that be we still live in a democracy. So in reality it's not it is what it is but what its not.

  • i have seen 300 + gd shows with jerry and they are playing for the sake of playing and they are having a great time as well as the 20 k people at every show -music is healing and it is what it is and you are right it is what its not and its not bad,..

maybe u should see a show instead of spouting opinions from some shitty vid on you tube ,..come on man get of the couch or out of your cubicle and dance,..

  • Typical dead head bull, I'veseen 300 shows, dude give me a break. I don't care if you seen one show. The point is don't give adivice you, yourslef don't take. The whole point I'm making is that I don't want to see a show without Jerry, is that not my right. As far as spouting remarks from my couch what makes you think I'm not outside. You have too much ego for a dead head, let it go and move on.

  • Both of you guys are cracking me up I must say...I miss Jerry very much, but I am grateful the music still lives on (Phil & Friends, Ratdog, etc...) and I think the boys did an honorable job with the tunes this last tour...I know I had phun!

  • I've never been to a grateful dead show and love their music. I feel fortunate that the "dead" is playing and goin to my first show this weekend. I'm sure I see Jerry there at the show since his spirit and memory live on in the music.

    GBU
