I've actually had the most problems on xp, not vista. Windows 95 gets pretty fucked up after a while. Never used ME, so I can't say what's really the most messed up.

Vista was bad, but it overall wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. Still would have rather used it than a Mac.

@drieseboy Well, I just bought myself a used MacBook Pro from 2009 (great condition) for $800 (most of the PCs out there are more expensive!) and I really like the design. But these advertisements are so fucked up, I really think about selling this laptop again and switch back to Windows. I just don't like the way Apple has to shout out "Look at us, we are (or pretend to be) so much better!!!! LOOK AT US, DAMMIT!!!!!!!"

@indrajem7vwh PCs have more compability than Macs for: Games, different pieces of software, peripherals, CHANGING AND UPGRADING YOUR GOD DAMNED RAM, VIDEO GRAPHICS CARD OR WHATEVER, unlike your Mac, when something breaks, you're fucked, you have to get a new one because you can't change anything. I hope you're happy paying 40% more than you would with a PC just because "It doesn't crash", believe me, they are computers, they all crash.

Macs are technically PCs. In today's computer world it is only Mac software on PC hardware. They would be better off saying I'm Mac, And I'm Windows. This simple truth of the matter is Mac charges so much more for their proprietary BIOS PCs made by Foxconn. Why pay more for subpar hardware. Get Hackintosh.

In all honesty, if you have the money,do what I did. Buy a Macbook Pro, and stick your favorite version of Windows onto it. Once you do that you can switch between both OS', AND you can also install Linux through Windows. Triple booting all three OS' on a machine with superior hardware? Want.
