Everytime I watch this I think of this. In BioShock 2 you are Subject Delta. And after you kill yourself, your Big Daddy Programming is gone, and you have to find Eleanor or you will die.

But this is where you choose. Will you give her back the happiness that was stolen from her by her own mother? Or will you become a parasite as Andrew Ryan says and say No! You must continue your mother's work for all of Rapture! And take all the ADAM for yourself killing anyone who has it?

@sunnydale22 that is a Little Sister, she was genetically modified to drink from the corpses' blood and turn the ADAM in it reusable for other Plasmids. That lightning bolt the Splicer charged the character with is the Electro Bolt Plasmid for example, and the green ball is the Hypnotize. They're genetic modifiers that let you get, let's say, a sort of super-human capabilities, and those guys that grabbe dthe Little Sister are Splicer, ADAM addicts basically...

@jeremyrees01 Eleanor explained she had the little sisters revive him in a vita-chamber. My guess is they threw his helmet back on, put him in the vita chamber and the game starts where he's coming to immediately after he falls out.

Eleanor may have obtained some kind of snapshot of Delta from when he was in perfect health (say, from when they were testing him out during development).
