  • Is it possible to get this monster stuck.. :P

  • I've only seen it get stuck twice. Both were last year in Wales - he went into a rather deep pond (water up to the top of the wings) and the tyres he had at the time could not get traction on the silty pond bottom. The second was a not-so-deep water feature, but again the tyres could cope with the silty bottom (ooer).

Since the new tyres were added (I think this event was the first with the new ones on) I've not seen him get towed out of anything.

  • Do you mean that XZL's that he was running? That are nice tires too but more for sand use. I dont't prefer them in mud.

Some guy from here is running C303 axles too with 255/100 XZL's. It looks real nice.

I'm now bizzy with my own project, I'm building a RR Clasic based Defender for 2 years. I fitted C303 axles too, I cant wait to start driving it but I have to be patient.

  • I knew they were all letters! Yep, I think he was running XZL's. He's now running Maxxis Creepy Crawlers I think, which seem to be a better bet for what he uses it for.

  • una preparacion descomunal, comparandolo con un series , si señor!!

  • Gracias por su comentario. ¡Sí, es extraordinario!

For those English speakers, maninblack70 was saying "an extraordinary preparation, comparing to a series." (well according to babel fish that was what it was saying!!
