You mention 8000RPMs in the description... what about the 7800RPM "hard limit" on the PCM for the coyote platform? Does this only apply to the GT? I've seen a track vid of a production Boss 302 with the TracKey, and the guy hit the rev limiter at 7800RPM - so it'll take more than a TracKey. Is there another PCM floating around we need to know about? Makes me wonder what the Boss 302Rs were using to rev 8K+. Something smells about this "hard limit." Ford is sandbagging something here, lol.
@matthewpwns77 I saw a dude who test drove a boss 302 claiming that, just looking for confirmation. A track vid showed a boss 302 running with the TracKey, and the rev limiter was at 7800RPM. I did hear rumors of the Boss 302R version revving that high though I don't know how much truth there is to it. I wanna SEE one rev that high, then I'll believe, lol.
Too short, no numbers or even a list of mods. But hearing that boss motor roar prevented me from hitting the dislike button. Love Performance White on the Boss, too. So, what mods and dyno numbers (tuned and baseline)?
Lethal, what the hell is wrong with you guys? Put numbers up if you're gonna put a dyno video up, nobody gives a S about seeing it spin if you don't show numbers...come on man, you'all know better than that!
Dyno numbers don't mean squat. You should know that by now. We put the REAL numbers up at the track Wednesday night. The car went 10.64@124.24. Not much more to it than that.
@Lethalcamp So all your buyers only car about track times huh? Weird because I bought everything from you guys for my 620whp Mustang and it's never seen the track one day in its life. Do you see all these people asking about dyno numbers? Why even throw up a dyno video? Shame on you guys, you know better...no excuses...fix it.
Unfortunately at this time we can't post any numbers as that's part of an article that 5.0 Mustang Magazine is doing on the car. Until that article is published we won't post the numbers. That's just the way it is. Hope you understand.
@Lethalcamp Now that is understandable and I would put things like that in the descriptions to avoid the HUNDREDS of comments saying put up dyno numbers on your various videos lacking them. Mid 10's is pretty respectable for any car...being on spray, not so cool but since all you guys seem to care about is going in a straight line 1/4 mile at a time then it's all good I guess...my 2 cents, thanks for posting.
As far as the car is concerned it's definitely not a 1/4 mile only car. We had Vaughn Gittin, Jr. drift the car with less than 1000 miles on it a few weeks ago. At the present we're working on the magazine article with 5.0. Once that's done the car is going to Sebring or Daytona and will be driven on the road course. The problem is that there's so much we want to do with the car but not enough time to do it all. So we're doing it one step at a time.
@MrTheMuffinMan685 While I agree with that man it's still the principle, put up a dyno video...you better show some numbers. EVEN IF THOSE NUMBERS SUCK which is why they probably didnt put them up. Lethal has been in the game long enough to know better, dyno video = dyno numbers and vice versa...
You probably don't even have a car you have no videos up nothing so shut your mouth. These guys have no reason to fucking lie.
