  • I think General Franco should stay in the Valley of the Fallen. It is an appropriate spot. I hear the left doesn't go to the monument anyway. Would they start attending if Franco were moved?

  • Franco <3

  • Look people: The Valley of the Fallen was built in order to perpetuate the memory of those who gave their life in the civil war, and also like a reconciliation monument. This was not some mausoleum or pyramid to get Franco buried; he had the grave in the cemetery of El Pardo. The king was the one who decided to move him in there.

And believe me when I say, that almost everything said in this days about him is false

  • @CESSKAR you perfectly know that the valley of the fallen was built with forced labor of the prisoners taken on the republican side (the non rebels by the way) and many of them died there and worse. Stop the lies about reconsiliation and he king etc... If you really think that the transicion was real and eficient you're liying to yourself, you lack of information or you're another facist. You do not simply end a dictatorship with a transition where

  • @LIONED every single men of power during the Franco regime stays in powerfull positions, people that got rich with him stayed rich and nobody was held acountable fo the crimes cmitte during the war and the regime. En now a ays theremaining facists censore our judges that want to what's right, held accountable these assassins.

  • @LIONED eres español? first, u speak of "fascists" when that was just a dictatorship, completely different to any kind of fascism (study a bit, and dont read just pamphlets). And second, it is completely unjust sentence the people from one of the sides, when the other killed as well. Really, u expect that after a war, the winners forgive the losers?? that would be the first time in world history.

  • @LIONED again and again. Study a bit, and document yourself: the valley of the fallen was NOT built by forced prisioners. NO. Most of the people who built it were just common people, a small minority were republican prisioners who were paid for their work (with money or reduction of sentence). And no, very few people died during the construction, very few. Just read documents of the construction or the notes of the architects Diego Mendez and Pedro Muguruza, like I did.

  • As for the socialists/communists do we tell you where to go and bury Stalin's, Lenin's or Kim il Sung's remains so that it can be worshiped by your atheistic asses.

  • Why are these fucking Muslim telling Christians whom we can bury in our churches? Go fuck your homo mohamed up his arse. It is a Church you dumb fucking mulim. The socialists play right into the hands of the muslims and give Spain to the Caliphate.

  • Blah blah blah, stop spamming shit. No one especially reads all caps repeated over and over

  • He was one of the most horrible criminals in world history. That is why the Vatican Roman Catholic Church respects him so much.

  • Fascists deserve no monuments, just scorn and ridicule!

  • Not that I agree with this mans ideology but I find digging up a body to be downright ghoulish, just let the dead rest in peace

  • So who are the supporters of Franco...a bunch of senile old men who are ready to keel over....

I wonder why the ETA with all of their useless bombings in spain, not bomb the crap out of Francos tomb. Hypochrites.

  • What an incredible Basilica

  • Viva Francisco Franco! Caudillo de España por la Gracia de Dios! Mueran los Sudacas, los Rojos y los Moros!

  • Dump his body in the sewers and burn his tomb.

    That Nazi rat bastard.

  • Soo.. Spain should have been left to the butchering hands of communism? Franco was better than that

  • And so it was that later

as the miller told his tale

that her face, at first just ghostly,

turned a whiter shade of pale

  • Wait! Didn't Franco get help from the Nazis? then why is he so famous? He carried on an Coup d'état against an elected government. Why so many love him?

  • I think a lot of spanish would like to have Franco's remains flushed in the downtown toilet.

  • Fuck Franco. Long live the memory of Spain's brave resistance fighters!

  • dibs on the corpse.

  • This just in: Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.

  • HAIL VICTORY!

  • Let sleeping dogs lie.
