  • thank you for your insight. What is "foaming in"? Do you mean alcohol based hand santizer? Street clothes...little picky aren't you. Auscultate with top off...ah...students really don't want to reveal themselves on video. This video is a step by step procedure from G White's text Clinical Procedure Evaluations for RC

  • Open up your lungs, or dilate the bronchi? Why is the patient wearing street clothes? No gloves, no foaming in, how large your airways are? Very poor, that's why Asthmatics and patients with COPD are not able to perform the MDI technique properly. Cartridge, canister? Need to auscultate with her top off. What's a boot? She did not mention the signal that whistles.

  • i hope you arent that boring when you are treating patients. i think you do a pretty good job with your step by step procedures for the therapy being provided. but i think you need more spunk.

  • Peak flows as well as other PFT measurements can be done without a nose clip as long as the patient does not loose air out the nose. You will find asthma pts that use peakflow meters will rarely have noseclips. When doing diagnostic PFTs I ways use nose clips.

  • Was the patient supposed to have a nose plug when doing the peak flow test ?

  • He says several times. Hope you do not need step by step instruction for all your therapies.
