JoAnn - I agree! My mother did, too. It's magical, that experience of someone who was acting ordinary just a moment ago suddenly transforming into an opera.
I loved what he sang, my dad was a tenor and he would sing to us (my family) when I was a child. And I grew up listening to opera. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. JoAnn
His speaking voice was beautiful - so from the moment I entered the cab I suspected he was a singer.
"Firebird" was on the radio. I asked him to turn it up ... loud. When it was over, we started talking, and he offered to play me a cut of HIM singing, which I loved, but I most just wanted to hear him SING right there and then, and when he did, it was glorious - and everything that makes live music ALIVE.
I keep watching this over and over! I love it so much!
