There are very high level D3 schools that can beat a lot of d2 and d1 schools. I live in ORegon right by Linfield and they go to the world series almost every year. They have a shit load of talent.

Most of the starters at this level of D3 throw 88-92.

I know both Trinity Starters were sitting upper 80's.

Yea you're right, Trinity's starting pitcher in game 1 is in Advanced A Ball with a 1.50 era.....and he lost that game....but all the hitters suck....your right....

And Jordan Zimmerman for the nationals was in the D3 CWS 18 months ago....but you're right....they arent good at all

And mediocre division III teams beat division 1 teams all the time, but the class of division III baseball...they are bad you're right.

couldn't have been said any better. Totally agree with you. I play d3 baseball, and we just got a transfer from a division 1 school, and he swears that the competition he saw at D1 was no better than the competition that we play

I was talking 2 a coach who coaches a D-2 team and he told me D,1,2, and three are pretty much the same. Also when he played in college it was D-2, and they would smack st.johns uni

yeah i diddnt say it was immpossible its harder... and you get drafted lower and hence less money..if that same person was playing d1 and put the same numbers he would have gotten more money....it sucks but what can you do

@GfromNyc it really depends on where you go...there are plenty of D1 schools that can get slaughtered by D3 schools... same the other way around... the thing about D2 schools is that they get a lot of D1 dropdowns so they usually stay at the same skill level.

I played D III ball and we used to smack around a D II team we played every year. We beat them 21 to 2 my senior year. Baseball is the one sport where a D III team could beat a D I team. I bet Trinity could beat UConn's team, no joke. UConn sucks dick at baseball, and Trinity or Eastern CT could probably beat them. So get a clue.
