  • The judges are all men. Was Prosser a Catholic? If so the FBI should investigate him for this.Total fuckin' conspiracy. If we could just tar n' feather one of these priests, we'de send the message the police and judges aren't. If they would make crimes fit punishments it would change the world.

  • she is unqualified cuz she is a whore!!!! go prosser! duh! WINNING!

  • Who the hell cares? This is absolutely ridiculous, the woman he is going against first of all looks and sounds like a muppet of some sorts, and second of all, she has the judicial experience of a walnut. There's a reason that when this was a non-partisan election he was up above 50% and she was way down in the 20s.. Voting for her is the same as voting based solely on one issue, and not a broad issue, one specific bill, that won't change anyway, they'll just redo it and pass it again.

  • "So if you know what's good for you, you'll vote the straight Grunt ticket....or we might have to pay youse a little visit to persuade youse to do so...know what I mean?"

  • DOWN WITH PROSSER! Can't wait till he's gone and Kloppenburg becomes judge. Scott Walker, you're next! All this pissing off the unions will just make Obama's reelection a certainty in 2012. Goddamn Republicans are dumb, dumb dumb!

  • @Jujuman2003

Don't you feel a bit dumb now?

  • @Freedan111 I don't remember Prosser winning. It's recount time.

  • @Jujuman2003

Only if Kloppenburg pays for a recount since according to Wisconsin's law, if the gap is over 7500 votes, the candidate have to pay for a recount if they want one.

  • I read the letter distributed by the victim. There is a gap in his story. I am not implying that he is lying. However, his defense of Prosser is that the latter was seeking to protect him from an emotionally disturbing experience. In that statement, he is taking Prosser at his word, thereby not taking considering past, unknown interactions b/t Prosser and the Catholic Church. Thus, his letter fails to disprove the claims of this video.

  • See what the victim has to say firsthand:

  • Merryfield [said] other children could have been spared. “It wasn’t as if sexual abuse of a child wasn’t a felony back then. The laws were on the books, and Prosser should have prosecuted.” AP, 2/5/08

“Court records reveal an agreement between a former Catholic bishop and a prosecutor to keep allegations of a priest committing sexual assault a secret. The victims now want an apology from that prosecutor - David Prosser.” WBAY, 5/16/08

  • Are you so greedy that you're willing to lie and cheat just to save your pensions and your fat bloated salaries?

    Shame on you.

  • Imagine that a treasonous commie progressive insurgent defending pedophiles

  • @HangProgressives FYI- He's not the progressive candidate

  • Prosser is just a lapdog of billionaires. He should be in prison, not on the court.

  • A new low in dishonest political ads. And Kloppenburg does not come out against it. This says all I need to know about her.

  • THIS AD IS FULL OF LIES!!! Both Prosser and law enforcement authorities investigated the complaint. There was NO EVIDENCE to prosecute. The trial would have been devastating to the boys at the time. Prosser and law enforcement did not learn of the 30 years of abuse by the priest until 2002 and then Prosser helped in the prosecution. Prosser demanded the priest no longer be allowed to serve the parish and he had no knowledge that the priest was assigned to another parish.

  • @Nerfball6 - Ya know what I hate? When people say just how "devastating" a trial would be to a child. I was child of incest in the early '80's and ya know what? I could have handled it. If a child is strong enough to actually come out and tell someone what has happened to them, then they are way stronger than anyone even can imagine!!! Give it rest already...all the people who chant "it would be harmful...it be devastating..." blah blah. We already went through the worst of it when abused.

  • @EarthMomWI Yeah, I think the whole, "sparing the child" thing is a crock. Its just another way of saying, "you should be ashamed, very ashamed. So ashamed, that you can't even tell the police or a judge."

i wish someone would ask this guy what happened that made him so suddenly change his mind about Prosser. In 2008 he was mega pist off at him. Then all of a sudden he is a supporter?

    I smell a bribe. A big bribe.

Too bad even if we could prove he was bribed it wouldn't matter.

  • "Kloppenburg defeats Prosser" here on Youtube...tee.hee....

  • Well in the Gableman case Prosser ruled that it was A-ok for candidates to run sleazy attack ads full of lies.

In this ad their are no lies, only the facts as gathered from news papers.

Now Prosser has his panties in a bundle over this ad.

It was ok when a Republican supreme court candidate (himself) ran a lie laden sleazy attack ad, but when a third party runs an ad against a republican listing facts from news papers its deplorable.

Typical republican hypocrisy. Never get my vote again.

  • @TheMasterTate - I agree. Wouldn't it be great if we could see the large deposit made to buy off that poor bastard who has suddenly changed his story? Very sad. Victimized again by the same people.

  • This ad is a Union-backed ploy to discredit Prosser and promote their Liberal democrat candidate for the Supreme Court position.

It's only for the Supreme Court votes they expect to try to overturn the Public Sector Union compromises passed by the Wisconsin House and Senate last month.

Typical Unionthuggery and democrat treachery at play agaist Prosser so that they can continue to feed at the taxpayers' trough.

  • @garwoodv6 Im sorry you are scared of your own shadow.

  • @Chardansearavitriol Yeah, whatever, LOL

  • @garwoodv6 ... any proof the ad is backed by a union? If there is evidence of such, I would like to learn about it before the election comes April 5th.

  • @WoWAddictsUnited Yes, the 'net, the local newspapers, the legal proceedings about the case... and the money contributors to pay for the ad to be aired. Look for the Union Label...

  • Prosser should be ashamed of himself.

  • Shame...on the Regressives.

  • Damn ... the TRUTH about Prosser protecting a proven pedophile priest sure has all those right-wing thugs riled up.

  • @SoINeedAName48 That's because it's a pack of lies.

  • To Patrickomalleyy - Try finding his statement at GatewayPundit... do a search for the home page and scroll down... you'll find an article on it and a PDF link to his statement.

  • The Most Important Video on Youtube. ----->

    /watch?v=cgoRNzXc-TE

  • None of this is true. The Dems want to get rid of Prosser so they can get a liberal on the supreme court and the Unions hope to overturn the collective bargaining bill... here's the statement from the victim who is appalled by the lies in this ad

Do a search on "Troy Merryfield Statement"

  • @3marazn I did your search, and there was nothing at any of the web pages. In other stories, it just says the victim doesn't want his case used in politics. If the ad contained lies, there would be a lawsuit for slander. It's based on facts, and you just don't like the facts, which are that he was negligent in not prosecuting a pedophile. Don't worry, you'll still get the Catholic vote, from all 5 Catholics that haven't left the church yet for protecting thousands of pedophiles.

  • @patrickomalleyy You either didn't try or are a liar yourself. It's easy to find.

  • @3marazn "None of this is true..." Merryfield's statement may be equivocal but it is nevertheless true that Prosser did not prosecute in 1979, allowed himself to be misled by the diocese, and only after police obtained new evidence and new testimony did Prosser assist in the prosecution, 25 years later.

  • This is from a statement from the victim (who now lives in Va):

As a victim, I find the ad by the Greater Wisconsin Committee to be offensive, inaccurate and out of context. I hope that organization will remove the ad. I hope Ms. Kloppenburg will encourage that organization to pull the ad. I hope all websites... would stop portraying this case inaccurately and out of context. If I was a resident of the State of Wisconsin, I would vote for David Prosser in the upcoming election.

  • Typical leftist "fool the people" slander.... Any means to an end--cheat, steal, lie..... That is the progressive motto in elections.

  • This has to be the most offensive ad I've ever seen. The victim in this case has already put out a press release saying that the facts in this ad are completely made up and that he supports Prosser in this campaign.

The GWC has always been famous for lying, but this is truly the lowest of the low.

  • Interesting that one of the victims in the case calls this ad, "offensive, inaccurate, and out of context." And says, "If I was a resident of the state of Wisconsin, I would vote for David Prosser in the upcoming election."

  • @DannyThePostman: Yes, yes, but just three years ago, the victim was scathing in his criticism of Prosser, saying he should step aside when cases involving priest sexual misconduct come before the high court. "He knows damn well what happened and what was said," the Milwaukee Sentinel Journal quotes him as saying, "He dropped the ball, and he should recuse himself.". Not sure why the sudden conversion/forgiveness, but politics is what it is...

  • @HesInMe7

Troy Merryfield said this about the ad:

"as a victim, I find the ad by the Greater Wisconsin Committee to be offensive, inaccurate, and out of context. I hope the organization will remove the ad. I hope Ms. Kloppenburg will encourage the organization to pull the ad. I hope all websites, blogs, and other purveyors of political information would stop portraying this case inaccurately and out of context.

You can try to attack him and diminish his statement, but he's clear here.

  • @HesInMe7 so she is unqualified because she looks funny?

  • @DannyThePostman The victim in this case has already put out a press release saying that the facts in this ad are completely made up and that he supports Prosser in this campaign.

  • A vote for Prosser is a vote for pedophiles.

    Vote Kloppenberg on April 5th.

  • @GFGforever What a load of crap! You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • True!
