am really happy to know my lessons are helping you ...

i don't use my fingers in any special way as this is not true spanish / fingerstyle - i just use my fingers instead of a pick as i find the sound soft and smooth ... the hand movement would be exactly the same if i were to use a pick ...

  • hi pawan sir,

i have viewed all four lessons of chord progressions, your teaching method is very impressive . i have a problem i was playing " Suhaana safar aur yeh mausam haseen" from film- madhumati , song is on G# major ( i think ), IN THIS SONG the composer has used A and A# both ; B and C both; E and f# and G both( रे कोमल और शुद्ध, ग कोमल और शुद्ध, ध कोमल और नी कोमल और शुद्ध ) in this composition. can you please explain chord progression that i can use in this song.

  • thanks for your feedback, amit :)

    try the song in Gm

mukhda has Gm, F and Eb for first line

  • grest bosssss!!! iplz post lessons about other modes like aeolion,etc...as u have done lydian n mixolydian.....before....

    don't know when though :)

  • @pjalan sir i m w8ing 4 them desparatly...:-)

  • hi, firstly thanks for the tutorial, they are indeed really helpful. :)

I do have a doubt in this lesson with respect to your understanding chords lesson 2, where we were playing a song in the key of G and then used the note F instead of F#, that is the 7th note was played a half note down. In this lesson too you are doing the same, but on the Cscale by lowering the 7th note B by half a note to Bflat. So, to understand a bit more, is there any other 'fundamental' difference in the two lessons?

  • u r rt, i did repeat the concept and i even mentioned that briefly. i did this new lesson recently almost a year after the previous one, and just followed my instinct in speaking thru it.... so i did end up repeating a few things ....

  • Sir you are wonderful . I wish I had a teacher like you sir. Now I am self taught guitarist and even after two years I am not that confident. Hope you can guide me through.

    PS:

  • hi manju
