The real down to earth truth why people don't want to believe in the creationists story is simply because it justifies God, the scientist knows he's wrong deep down inside but he's satisfied with evolution simply because it gets rid of God and the bible.
Everyone's getting Dr.Hovind's point confused, he's asserting that evolution is just as much as a religion as creationism is and should be taken out of schools. Dr.Trivers was SUPPOSE to assert his point about fossils and genetics but because he sucks at debate, he used his time insulting instead of getting his point across. Debating is an art that he just did not master at all!
Dr. Robert Trivers gave not one specific piece of evidence in favour of evolution, instead he used his time to try and be-little Dr. Kent Hovind. He was a very angry man and insulting, he seemed to be full of hatred towards the bible and the God who inspired it. If evolution were true, it seems he would not be a nice product of it: the venom flowing from him seems worse than asps, maybe the term would then be called Evilution.
so if evolutionists believe that any type of animal can come from 1 basic earlier form, why does the professor claim at 12:00 that animal diseases can't come or mutate, like darwin likes to use, and cause new diseases? we still havent cured the common cold, it's constantly changing, so who's to say that diseases can't in animals as well?
if i am stupid for believing life has purpose and there is an intelligence behind the intelligence then those who are calling me stupid can not be intelligent as they themselves do not know.They are obviously deluded in thinking they can only be right and everyone else is wrong.
I am sorry, but I really can not seem to grasp the concept of one man or even 10 human beings, gathering 2 of every animal and placing them on a huge boat, meanwhile it rained continuously for 40 days and 40 nights, and they all miraculously survived the whole ordeal.
@katierose0515 Actually it was 2 (1 male, 1 female) of each "unclean" animal and 7 pairs (14 total) of each "clean" animal. Plus 7 pairs of each kind of bird. Genesis 7:1-3. Noah didn't gather the animals. God directed the animals onto the boat. (Gen 7:9) Noah was in the ark and the animals just followed him. There was 120 years for Noah and his sons to build the ark. Man was bigger and stronger then and lived longer than we do now. If you want to know these things read the bible.
