@ponymadgurl13 That's okay if you don't like it. I didn't post it for entertainment. I suppose I would take it down, but I enjoy watching it and remembering the feelings from that day. So far, you are the first individual to take offense--or to vocalize your displeasure. Sorry to have wasted 8 minutes of your time; I will put in the title that it is 8 minutes of a horse eating grass :D

He is actually coming along really well. He is doing slow but accurate spins that are getting faster and he is a really great mover. He is a real joy. Thank you so much for the encouragement!!!
I think it is a very sophisticated and yet adorable name: unique feel. You must be really smart to have named him so well, ;D. I can't wait to see some videos of him!
my pony is a right brained extrovert but i am slowly getting him more centred. he actually follows me around without a headcollar on but he is petrified of straingers because he was abused before almost being sent to slaughter. but me and him were meant to be togetherr. there were 53 horses at his old yard which belongs to a friend of my mum's who really rescued him. he ahs been gentled for a year and he is going to a national xc qualifier next week end! it really shows just how good he is.
That is so cool. Blu wasn't abused or neglected. he was just not around horses. His owner was a very nice woman, but she had rescued a 3 yo who had been abused and had to sell "tyler" so she could focus more energy on her new horse. That is so great that you have made such progress with your pony. I used to own a pony and healed his violence (not with parelli, with my own stuff). Congrats!!!! And thanx for the comment :)
parelli... and that if we can get more people they will realize not only do you get better results..but faster! My horse (jasper) and I have been working on our level one, but since we've had trust issues we're working on the level two liberty stuff and weve almost mastered that just from three sessions. Keep up the great work!
my horse is originally a right brain extrovert, but know that we've been working more with parelli were starting to see the left brained extrovert part of him come out on the ground..unfortunately not under saddle yet. his past is sorta like your horses. He was neglected and left alone with other horses until he was approx. 9 years old until the rescue seized him and the 30 other horses. He was never started under saddle until a year a half ago. Pretty much all and all Im glad you got into
Oh, Blu wasn't abused. He just wasn't around "real horses". His owner was a wonderful woman and she loved Blu. She had to sell him to focus on her rescued 3 yo horse. He didn't even get to be with those minis (because they were aggressive, lol). Blu is going to be easy to train b/c he is always stuck like glue to me, lol. All I have to do is go out there and be there and he comes over and won't leave, and that has been that way since we bought him :). My mare is like Jasper, though.
yeah i use parelli and my horse follows me like a puppy dog i can also walk up to her sometimes when she is laying down and pet her one time when she was laying down i sat on her back and she just layed there until i was centered and then she stood up and i rode her tackless for a little while and then got off.

He's a pretty boy! It is his color! Might want to pick up your reins a little XD

Thank you. Don't worry, it's just a lead rope and he just steps off of it when he feels he is stepping on it. But thank you!

lawl! My boys do that too when they're grazing in hand outside the pasture.

i like to sit with blu when he is sunbathing, too. ever since we got him, he likes to be talked to and coddled when he's laying down, lol.
