It's great they have an asexual character but there is no reason to make him such a prude. I am asexual but I find porn books amusing and I get sexy jokes.
True but there are all shades of grey of asexuality, we just don't all come in one same package. Some even would have some sexual relations with their partners while others cannot but both and all are identified as asexuals. You might find porn books amusing but others, and many others cannot bring themselves watching nor looking at any but I guess as an asexual you know all of that already. Again, they want to create drama here so the "extreme" to them would be fine...
