@totallynotjonathan fair enough on the gaming front then. Macs are still playing catch up in that respect. But things like iWork have genuinely made my life easier. All the cool templates and ready made projects and the cool fonts and so on make my work more attractive and better. iMovie is awesome, I've made a few awesome vids (without wishing to brag) on that and I didn't have to pay a penny for it. iCal is incredibly useful in my everyday life and so on. Just my opinion I suppose

Yepp, really. The games accessible through steam (you can't "play" steam) are limited. That's why there's that happy little "Apple" icon that indicates whether you can play a certain game on OS X or not.

Out of those 10% of people who actually own a mac, only 1%, perhaps a bit more, bother creating mac exclusive malware! And, to my way of thinking, "User friendly" is not a correct term to coin. Not all users are the same; an office worker might find a PC friendlier, whereas a musician might think of a mac as a more useful device.

While more viruses exist for Windows (not PC, WINDOWS) some of the nastiest ones target exclusively Mac OS. Such as one that takes pictures with your webcam and sends it off to a specified email.

Mac can be just as sensitive for viruses, but the big point is there are almost no viruses for macs. Pc is of course a much bigger 'market' for a virus maker.
Although mac is better designed, security-wise too, it's utter BS to declare that macs are naturally virus proof.

The main difference between the two systems when it come to viruses is that when mac updates their software they do it correctly so that the current major virus going around is stopped. Thats all. There are still many people trying to hack mac and they fail because Apple tries extremely hard to keep up with hackers.
