Watch Olbermans special comment on Prop 8, the episode that was an hour long special comment on Health Care. Also, not all of them are bad. Fox has Shep Smith, MSNBC has Rachel Maddow, CNN has....well, you got me on that one, but the other channels have decent people who express their opinions without letting it effect how they do the news. Opinion is not the problem.

If this yr. goes as badly for Obama as 09 then the midterms will be a republican tsunami. The dems should be terrified at the massacre that happened in VA and NJ. Obama campaigned in both states as well. VA was a battleground that Obama won decisivily because of the large black population. The people there now realize they made a huge mistake and the backlash was swift and harsh. Look for the same in 2010. NJ was just as bad because it is very liberal and Corzine still was beaten.
What backlash? Obama won virginia because he caused tons of first time voters to come to the polls. Those same young supporters and african-american voters didn't care enough to come to this election. There wasn't any case of voters switching parties to any signifigant degree.

Tax adjustments won't help home owners. It's the aid they'd get which would have to be paid for by taxes. The article I read on CNN was that the conservates claimed victory in the sense that the GOP has to wake up to the "fact" that they need to get conservaties on the ballot only. IE Scozzafava is a liberal. However its very telling that in the articale various unions had yet to endorce either scoozzafava or Owens. Once she left Owns got the endorcments. With the exception of a few journalists that challenge both sides & ask tough questions, including Rick Sanchez & Anderson Cooper, CNN is becoming a conservative safe haven where they can come on, lie & not get challenged. If this yr. goes as badly for Obama as 09 then the midterms will be a republican tsunami. The dems should be terrified at the massacre that happened in VA and NJ. Obama campaigned in both states as well. VA was a battleground that Obama won decisivily because of the large black population. Higher taxes for the rich is unconstitutional in a capitalist country. Wealth is very much tied to the pursuit of happiness with a country based on capitalism, and penalizing those making more money is infringing on their right to such.
On the other hand, we're in bad effin' shape and the system's already fucked. I don't want to see people who've done everything right lose any more homes, so I say we perform contract-based tax adjustments that expire after 1-2 years for the sake of emegencies

Uhh, the Constitution is separate from economic ideologies. The "pursuit of happiness" is the American Declaration of Independence. Making money any way possible is not a right and is very, very unhealthy for economies as seen in the causes of the Great Depression and current depression.
Contract-based tax adjustments aren't going to help current suffering home owners. I can't imagine why you would think the taxes are the problem in this situation.

Personally I don't think the Dems care whether the GOP takes a seat. I mean they won 2 places. I'm referring to NY and NJ. So by telling them oh you won't vote for them just puts the GOP back in control. Because hell when the Dems are office they can't get nothing done and still let the GOP do what they want anyway. So... You can't ask people to vote for you and then not hold your end of the bargain.

they just gave a legitimate example of bias. I don't see how that's favor. It's a fair opinion to think CNN is too far the to left in general, but you can't argue with their example.

Marco Rubio is not a clown but otherwise Cenk is right. Either R candidate has a good chance against a Democratic opponent, to be honest - they're both strong and I don't even know who the D is!
The best scenario for the Dems is if there's a long and bloody primary with Marco Rubio coming out on top but weakened. Jeb Bush has endorsed Rubio (mostly because he's posturing against Crist for a future Presidential run), so it's a possibility!

Maybe the problem with CNN is how they title there articles. The article I read on CNN was that the conservates claimed victory in the sense that the GOP has to wake up to the "fact" that they need to get conservaties on the ballot only. IE Scozzafava is a liberal. However its very telling that in the articale various unions had yet to endorce either scoozzafava or Owens. Once she left Owns got the endorcments. I like the idea that reps think this is the way to win keep with the strat.

The headline wasn't biased at all. The Republicans really were claiming victory. Whether or not that make sense on the part of the GOP is a completely different story. Let's not confuse a conservative bias with objectivity, something that Fox nor MSNBC has.
