  • super junior is the best!!!!!!!

  • what if your feet smell? :(

  • i noticed i forgot to sub

  • not just in korea, but the whole taking off shoes in the house is a whole eastern culture (japan, china, etc.)

  • ELF's are clinically insane.

Love the hipster shirt btw haha!

  • Setting villages on fire! xD

  • 개념만 머리에 ㅊㅕ 박고오면돼

  • and dont shit in the street - thats bad manners

  • When you said your chopsticks taste like boogers I was in the middle of eating green mint ice cream. Please remember to put do not watch while eating or something. Good video. :)

  • If u guys say EVEN half a bad word to SUJU.......ALL OF ELF Will......*evil laughs*

  • I thought SJ was popular everywhere except Korea, that Korean people didn't understand why they were so popular worldwide o_O Sorry, that's just what I've been told by a lot of different people..

  • @lolcrazyxD They've won the Daesang twice, I'd say they're pretty famous in Korea LOL

  • @kilala5162 ah yes. that's there too. though i always thought it had more to do with album sales and less with people actually liking them. maybe it's both ^^

  • @lolcrazyxD Suju is well known in Korea, but not extremely famous or be loved like SNSD, Big Bang, 2pm..etc...in Korea. But power of ELF is not a joke....always protect oppas even the little things...=> ELFs,us are dangerous! (I'm kidding)

  • 0:22 I liked this video xD

  • this is a very informative video :) and very hilarious. you guys are good with this!

  • Since i'm from a country where everything is about respect i don't think it'd be that hard for me when i visit Korea. Plus we have the similar "do not" things in my country too, haha. And it's always about respecting the elders and respecting your guests and your family.

  • As soon as I heard Super Junior I spammed the Like button on the video and the thumbs up on the top two comments. I have a problem xD But I'm OKAY WITH IT! Saranghaeyooooo SUJU+ELF!

  • so whats an aaaaaa-jussi and an aaaaa-jumma.

AH- Jussi and AH- Jumma. very hard AHs and hard Js

  • @Sikiru ajusshi is korean for an old man, I think it translates literally to "uncle" but its basically a term of respect. Ajumma is the same kind of thing but for an old woman. And by old I mean someone who could be like your parents age or older.

  • @kittylover813 I'm responding to them about how they're awfully pronouncing it. Not that I do not understand what it means. I am Korean.

  • THATS RIGHT NEVER SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT SUJU!!!!!!!!!! U EUNHYUK 3

  • Can I run down the street singing "Zipper head! zipper head!, Gook! Gook! Zipper head!"

  • His shirt!lol I listen to bands that don't even exist yet

  • Martina & simon are youn

  • oh well... i guess now i know why my friends from korea are always so mad at me! hehe i hate super junior! but i like 3 of their songs and i like leeteuk and yesung! :P

  • Every time I watch videos like this, I get so scared. I'd be terrified to go to an Asian country because in my brain, the LAST THING I want to do is offend anyone or draw attention to myself as a foreigner, and I'd just be SO SCARED of breaking customs unintentionally. It's probably a learn-as-you-go sort of thing, but I'm bad at those, haha. I HATE offending people, especially if I'm a guest in their country.

  • @Justica4all You don't need to worry about that. If you are a foreigner, they would understand.

  • @Justica4all : yep, that's exactly what i'm thinking!

  • I'm loving the "I'll Kill You" Ajumma xDD

  • the best part of this video was his t-shirt! haha "i listen to bands that don't even exist yet" i love it!!

  • omg i saw a photo of u 2 with super junior an a show!! omg u guys are so lucky. and like, huh? super junior looked so short next to u guys? how long are u guys?tell me plies

  • so its just like japan then even the hand thing lol

  • You're a funny couple, and you're free to talk about your opinions...

But actually, I think that all the "bad" things you're talking about in your videos are the reasons why we kpop fans love the korean people and like South Korea =P

And Yeah, you can't talk bad things about Super Junior because we ELFs are all over the world now! ;-)

  • another thing, is be racist against asians, because the instant you be done,oh.... WE CLIMBIN' IN YO WINDOWS, WE CLIMBIN IN YO HOUSE, WE GONN' FIND YOU, WE GONN FIND YOU, SO HIDE YA KIDS, HIDE YA WIFE, and hide your husband, cuz we jumpin ya'll err'yone out there. Sorry couldn't resist !

  • They'd rather have you walk in your stinky sweaty socks then wear shoes?

  • Even though people get chewed up for insulting Suju, i think people should also not insult SNSD, cuz well we know what happened in 2008 (not that i'm saying that all Sones are like that..)

  • In the US, Suju is like popular, but not to point where someone will kill u, Its DBSK and SNSD, I noe fans from both group who have ended up in physically fights, with slaps and punches ,for SNSD, and in verbal, where they curse so much and insult u personally for DBSK, the ELF;s here are not that strong or missing. This happened in my school in NYC, where this guy said that SNSD are short and not that pretty, something like that, and the sone fought talked shit back to him, and it ended bloody,

  • @usmaniscrazy1

NEVER say anything bad about SNSD. A sone has a DUTY to fight to the death to represent these girls.

  • @RapIsDeadly I;m a huge Sone, and I legit fought my family for them. but its soooo bad in my school, all the asian guys become crazy scary, like omfg. I join them LOLOL

  • Honestly worldwide. Just do not. Insult Super Junior. ELF will hunt you down.

  • LOL Super Junior is not that famous in Korea fyi :) You SHOULD NOT criticize DBSK and SNSD actually...You can be killed !!

  • Erm... I think Simon is already an ajuhssi?? Or no?? Hehe ~

  • sticking the spoon or chopsticks in the same manner, is for the deceased ancestor(s), to come and have the feast of foods, during the memorial rituals-jesa. After chanting and 3 bows for them, then the survived families will share the foods in the same room. This happens on the new year's day(sol-nal), Thanksgiving day(chosok) and once more,on the memorial date. But, this is only done in the family who are strict in Confucius manners, often with serious family pride and with old ancestry roots.

  • arab, india, china, malaysia, and many part of the other countries do have this "taking off shoes" customs, its not just asian,. really now. seriously?

  • Criticizing Super Junior should NOT be done worldwide now.

  • This isn't just for korean. The rice thing, and the shoe is part of the asian tradition

  • When I saw the video title, I was like:

#1 Do not hate on Super Junior. XD

  • i'm from saudi arabia ,and we take off our shoes too

  • @ArwaLaw i lived in bahrain for quite some time.. we take off our shoes as well though i'm not arab or anything.

  • @MSandiyong

, ya i guess most ppl in d arab countries take off their shoes before entering the house ..same as japan and Korea

  • why do you pronounce ahjussi and ahjumma that way?

  • whoever criticize Super Junior is going to die xD they are one of the most well respected senior idol group!

  • lol not criticizing super junior <3 i completely AGREE with that~ ^^

  • wait do they live in korea

  • I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT SUPER JUNIOR!!! XD

But seriously, they are my life and I will go ape shit all over you haha.

And thanks for all the info, this was a really good video.

  • You were on Running Man. Hahha. Awesome!

  • is it true on buying japanese electronics? ._. ne1, is this true?

  • @phyzik13XYZruka well since Japan and Korea have their own electronics so it's kinda like a rivalry.. or it's just my opinion xD

  • @Mystearicia not just that. korea was under japan's rule for 35 years and they suppressed the koreans and so a lot of the older people sorta hate japan and think of it as a tyrannical country and just dont want anything to do with japan. even until just recently, japanese movies and stuff wasnt allowed to be shown in korea or something. its not as apparent now in the younger generation but still koreans are really prideful of their heritage and culture

  • your accents are so terrible. you dont even try.

  • Not just in Korea, but people shouldn't criticize Super Junior ANYWHERE!! :D

  • I LOL'd when you guys mentioned super junior...I like them, they're awesome...but I just think that its funny that you said something like that in the video (^ ^)

  • OMG!!! I fricking love U guys !!!!! :epiccry:

  • wow i LOVE this video, although i do already know some of the stuff

  • WAHHHH THIS WAS UPLOADED ON MAH BIRTHDAY!!!...I know no one cares..I just wanted to feel a lil important...XD

  • @MJfanof91 I'd feel special if it were uploaded on mah birthday too....so go ahead, feel important! Yay you!! (^ ^)

  • lol this was actually really helpful :D

  • damn i didn't realize how anal my culture was until i started watching your videos.

  • That girl that rejected Donghae in We Got Married should be murdered then

  • Not just in Korea, they should never criticize Super Junior in any part of this world! I'm telling you, we ELFs are crazy!! xD

  • Actually, that's all normal thing that people don't do in most of Asian countries... So if you guys wanted to visit here, just follow those thing Simon and Martina said. But then, if you talk loudly in bus, I guess ppl will just glare at you unless it's REALLY LOUD. :D

  • this is too much to remember!

  • Omg, this made me laugh, it's all so true for us Koreans. xD

The sticking your chopsticks in your rice may sound weird to people... so I'll just explain... it's like an offering to the death, lol. :P Very bad!

and cindyrinka, it's actually spelled as 아저씨. Doesn't mean grandma, it means old man, just as these two described... correctly. :P

  • LOL "sticking chopstick in ur nose" remind me...my dad once sticked two pomesfriets in his nose and we were eating at mc donald hahaha i joined helpless with him n people keep starred at usxD

  • Hahahaha.. 앟주씨(ahjussi) means GRANDMA

  • @cindyrinka hahahahahaha. You sure? XD

  • koreans do not hate japanese! just hate some of them, who don't admit their faults when they colonized korea.

  • The rules are the same to Japan because Korea used to be a colony of Japan...

  • i would do all that stuff but not shout NORTH KOREA FTW

  • criticizing super junior...haha

  • Just like in japan the shoe thing. Oh and by the way why shouldnt you buy japanese electronics? D:

  • @anime3moncherrat because they're korean and they hate japanese. thats pretty much it.

  • Aw, Simon's hipster shirt. Love it. <3

  • Poking chopsticks in the bowl means you're praying to a dead ppl something like that.Chinese, koreans and japan's MUSTNOT.

  • @AmandaZELO LOL IT DOES.

I did it in China once, and my parents told me never to do that - it's because it looks like incense when someone's died.

  • Can you please do another video of extras like hand gestures and stuff? I'm so curious now. XD

  • ahaha, the calling over hand gesture thing seems common in Asian cultures. I know I used to get told off from my parents all the time ahaha.

  • jesus!! thanks for the info on the hand gestures! i'm off to korea in little over a week to be a teacher for the year, it could have been very awkward. (phew)

  • @oliviabondoc So, does that mean where you come from, you wear shoes in your house ??

  • And don't forget not to say anything bad about Super Junior !!

  • whoa! im chinese and like 95% of korean culture connects to our culture.. especially the chopstick on rice thing i think thats really the most important you should NEver do. you will die. O_O

  • Its exactly the same as in Japan.

  • I like how koreans have so much respect for their elders..:)

  • Hehe, Simon's pronunciation of 아저씨 and 아줌마. Hehehehehe.

  • @AlohaDucky IT BOTHERED ME XD

  • Lol you koreaboos don't understand they're being sarcastic xD

  • omg.. Martina, I lovee your eyes! hahahah, i swear I could not look away because they're so nice. Awwh, i wish my eyes were like that, but noooooooo. They're just dark and dull =.= LOL, anayways, I love your vids~! <3

  • How you pronounce Ajussi and Ajumma wrong kinda annoys me. Otherwise, I love the video. XD

  • True.

1 Once I didn't take my shoes off and someone got angry at me (that was a very disagreeable person though)

2 I got shushed at the bus twice... I started to think that old Korean people just hate listening a foreign language (I'm not a loud person)

3 I have never sit in the 노약자석 (Fortunately I've learned about that before)

4 The chock ticks thing, my teacher told me that if you put them like that it means death

5 The hand-calling thing I am learning now that one.

  • In scandinavia, we always takes of our shoes :) !

  • YAY im do all those things!....

setting villages on fire..... shoes... maybe some murder..

    yeaaahh

  • the most important thing ...speaking english loudly in public areas.

  • How did you learn Korean?

  • I'm Canadian and my family always takes off their shoes.

  • "Criticizing Super Junior..."

    BAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA. XD

    understandable...

  • come on maaaaate seriously? Suju haters just go away. You don't even take the time to get to know all the members, I swear Super Junior are amazing guys!!! and super talented and hot!

  • @KIRSTENmusicLOVER Why are you stopping people from learning super junior members? I hardly thought they were good, until I watched a show of them to learn their names. Now Super Junior is one of my favorite groups <3 So don't stop people from super junior.

  • I love Simon's shirts. They make me smile :)

  • But why would you guys walk in a house with your shoes on anyway? You're from Canada, aren't you? Canadians don't usually wear their shoes inside... Unless it's different in Toronto.

  • Lol love ur videos

  • AHAHAHA so true. If you criticize super junior then your basically asking to be killed by ELFS :)

  • @faithfullyxo lol :D

  • @MrSoshiSoshiSoshi If Super Junior is shitty then what about the 9sluts? I see that you are a fan of them. Shut the F*** up b**** Suju is one of the best and I'm not the only one saying this so haters gonna hate. And they are not disbanding. I'm sure that the whores will go away before SJ disbands >:P

  • @MalinutzaDark You're a typical ELF...Deluded and dumb. Is your IQ in the single digit? Because it sure seems like it. Get over it, none of Super Junior will ever fuck you or get you pregnant. Not even Shitdong.

  • In Indonesia sometimes we dont allowed to get in the house with the shoes on... I just thinking maybe if we put shoes on and walking around the house can make the floor dirty right? XD

  • looool so true about the ajummas and ajusshi's talking ....

  • Simon looks extra buff!!

  • Simon i love your shirts! where do you get them?

  • do not sit there, unless ure dying.. LOL

  • @koalalover121 excuse me?

  • @koalalover121 me to!

  • @koalalover121 stop hating.

  • i love what you guys are doin :)

so i can share your videos on my facebook and teach my Canadian friends

    what Korea is like

  • have you made the drink one yet? do it if you havent xD

  • criticizing SuJu = Crazy Elfs are coming to get you... *dum dum duuuum*

  • Oh yea, the sticking the chopsticks in the rice thing. Cus I'm Christian, I only new about that when I was in secondary school. It's only done when you want to offer food to ghosts or your ancestors so unless you want to invite people from the other dimension, don't do it.

  • LOL are people gonna like attack you if you criticize suju? XD

  • @Vivo825 not really......just death notes

  • @kpopworld13 LOL yeap

  • Well of course you're NOT supposed to walk inside someone's home/apartment/room with your shoes on, especially when it's someone that's asian. I'm Asian and I yell at my friends for walking in my house with their shoes on. We just think it's rude and a little disrespectful ^^"

  • @DericateFrower45 In Sweden we also take our shoes off. why? because the floors will get dirty otherwise... duuh... won't have any problems adapting if I go there ^^

  • Super junior....yup dont criticise them

  • buying japanese electronics. welp, don't think i can't do that

  • @animegoddess98 Same >w<

  • oh the little old lady! bwahaha hilarious!

  • Some of my friends actually complain that I always take off my shoes whenever I go to their houses o.o"

  • lol at 4:13 I remembered I hadn't washed my teeth!! Thanks Martina!! XD

  • Whenever I get home, I usually keep my shoes on for hours unless my feet hurt :/

Plus, I feel awks walking in other people's houses without shoes......and what if I'm not wearing socks??! D:

  • @onceme2u they give you slippers. yeah i dont like being shoeless in someone elses house as well.. found it super weird when i first saw a drama with people dressed up all fancy and verbally fighting and manipulating and stuff but no shoes on XD they stop looking cool immediately..

  • @kznck Ikr! They think they're all cool but their feet look ready for a slumber party lol

  • @onceme2u ah, your feet will smell :s

  • I would warn my friends and family about not watching your videos...... But I don't like my friends and family. So they're on their OWN!

  • I'm german and we take off our shoes too xD

  • POR Q NO SE PUEDE CRITICAR A SUPER JUNIOR?

  • @lyseya Era una broma ehh XD

  • @lyseya because SJ are the best boys band in South Korea, they are very popular

  • @mikaKenchikuka uhm...DBSK?

  • @MrJageenprins DBSK....mmm, they are cute but they haven't SJ's charisma

personally i've always prefered solo singers like Hyo shin park, park shin hee, So jung mo, Jang geun suk... instead of boys bands ;)

  • If you aren't teachers anymore what do y'all do for work?

Is it socially acceptable in South Korea to like

    make videos as a lifestyle?

  • Not criticizing super junior... people can't do that in England either, I yell at them :D

  • You guys crack me up! Thanks for the tips~

  • i've said this before but you guys are just toooooo awesome!!!!!

  • Simon's t-shirt: "I listen to bands that don't exist yet."

My response: "Hey, that's what Chuck Norris would do!"

  • I liked this for a few reasons ,1 ) Because I'm korean. 2) Because you said " Not criticizing Super Junior" <3~

  • @HellowPanduh you are korean?!?! Sooo lucky.....

  • @MoziCocosi Yes, I'm korean. C:

  • what's wrong with jap things i never understud it

  • in australia you can wear your shoes inside the house and other people's houses it's not really a big thing unless you ask them to take your shoes off or you do it to be polite. but like i said it's not really a big thing

  • @believersnevrdie Doesn't dirt from outside get on the carpets?

  • @kockgunner well if your shoes were really muddy or something you'd take your shoes off just out of politeness. i'm sure dirt and stuff does go on the carpet but we don't really think about it because the carpet can always be cleaned :)

  • I love how they say you CANNOT criticize Super Junior :D

  • 90% of what they say should be kept in mind. I was raised in korea for 10 years and i agree with their tips!

  • I think it's just Americans who wear their shoes indoors...?

  • @lesleyburt I'm Chinese and I wear my shoes in doors, it depends if your house if carpeted or not.

  • @KittyLei007 do you live in Asia? NO Asian household will allow shoes in the house, carpeted or not. In fact almost no Asian houses has carpet; no matter the floor, the shoe will never enter.
