  • Thumbs up if you paid more attention to the fanta bottle than the drills!! Lol 3rd world country fanta bottle for the win!!!1

  • What model is the Bosch in your video? Is it the PS20 or the PS40? Im trying to decide between the PS40 or the PS41.

  • @TheRubric Cant remember ill have to try and find the drill. I dont use either drills any more! Festool T15 is my fav drill. Its smaller in length then both drills and has LOADS more power so no point even bothering with both them drills. But the Bosch one in the video is the old model! Bosch do a new model now.

  • Makita is my 1st choice but Bosch is easily as good (20 yrs chippying), why compare?

  • @TheForza1000 Why not compare?! Makita/ Bosch both have der ups and downs but Makita is really gone down hill especially with their batteries very poor life span avarage battery is about 1 year.

  • I want to see the makita vs the milwaukee M12

  • @mackworld5000 Samere HERE! I know a plumber who owns one but I dont think he has the 12v Red lithium batteries but I have some Milwaukee 12v red lithium ones which I can stick in. Ill see if he will lend it me to do a test run Makita VS Milwaukee

  • Makita is the best...rechange pieces very economics ;-) and assistency very good...by Genoa (Italy)

  • were can i buy the bosch

  • @turnfootsherlock WHAT WILL A MONKEY DO WITH A BOSCH? STICK IT UP HIS ASS?

  • I am a very experienced tradesman & I've owned & used a lot of power tools. I can honestly say Makita overall is my choice.

  • @fazer12779 If you are that experienced you would Say FESTOOL , PROTOOL , MAFELL would be your overall choice not makita! As Makita has very poor battery life span!

  • I was not aware that Fanta was sold in a bottle like that.

    thanks for the video.

  • I think he should use a Bosch Gsr and not a gsr

  • Funny how people even make a religion out of tools. Makes you wonder... we're still apes.

  • cus the way i see it, if someone goes to this test to find the impact drill they want to buy theyll buy the makita not knowing there is something better out there.

  • im sorry to dissapoint all the haters of bosch out here but bosch is not weak, look at the nm of both them drills and youll see the old bosch used here has 30 nm whilst the new one has 105nm and i understand the time frame of when the drills where bought but a buyer isnt interested in a test where the old bosch model goes up against the newest makita and yes i say the newest cus they havent released a new one. if the buyer have a new bosch on the market thats what matters

  • I have the makita & just bought the dewalt 12v max. My makita drives screws faster & smother than the new dewalt, but I do like the dewalt and it's a keeper.

  • fuck off BOSCH

  • Разная скорость оборотов вала!

  • Makita fucking rock's iv had the lxt600 pack for a couple of months now and not a fault with it

Dewalt Bosch Milwaukee panasonic and metabo or what ever it's called are all just a waste of money

  • do they share the same voltage?

  • I bought the Makita in a twin pack about a year ago, very disappointed. I have since bought the newer model Bosch than the one in your video, again in a twin pack, the Bosch is by far the better performer in my experience. I also think your test is flawed, as your are by my reckoning right handed and you use the Bosch in your left giving it an instant disadvantage.

  • @dem1275

There could be a slight advantage but just look at the video dude! The Makita wins hands down no mater which hand I was to hold it in! PLUS I am ambidextrous so I have no preferred hand!

Any way I am not bothered about Makita or bosh I am a Festool/Protool fan most nearly all my tools are Festool and I preferrer Milwaukee over bosch and Makita but if I had to choice between bosch or makita I would say its 50/50 depending on which tools as they both have good and bad.

  • who ever made this video ..... what a shame for passing the wrong message dude .... first of all I just bought a bosch gsr 10.8v this must have been on the torque gear there is no comparision between bosch and makita .... bosch has a warranty of impact drops and ecp ( electronic cell protection ) that keeps your battery safe ..... while makita batteries have no protection ..... so hahaa

  • @zaeemlove86

Im comparing two drills which where brought out at the same time ish! New drills and tools come out all time and most the time not always though! But normally the tools are an improvement from the old one version! So the new Bosch might be more powerfull but when I bought this bosch and makita they where the only drills available at the time and as you can see in the video the bosch is weaker than the makita!

Plain and simple I am not claiming anything else but that!

  • @MrPhantomPhantom

I would warn you that makita batteries are not that good though as in they dont last I dont mean charge I mean life. You will properly kill the batteries before the end of the year and will be needing to buy new ones. You are better of spending more money and buying a festool drill CXS or T series as you get a 3year warranty on the tools AND batteries.

  • Makita is 2400 RPM and Bosch is 1800 RPM

  • @Andy205ro

well okay but does not really mean anything. Maybe for drilling holes but not for screwing thats where you would need torque as well as RPM to drive the screw in quicker. If the drill has no torque it wont be able to keep the RPM up. The makita shows it has the torque to keep up the speed. In theory the bosch should have more torque as it has less RPM so lower geared but it clearly does not have either torque or RPM lol

  • i was wonder how come when during unscrew, why is still weaker then drill in? Could it be battery is still weak even is full charged. Could it be your right hand is more powerful then left hand.

  • @letdoit

Strange comment, what do you mean still weaker? alot of drills are weaker in reverse the bosch is even more so once the screw comes out so far is becomes easier but the drill do not become stronger. My left hand being stronger than the right? All I have to do is pull a trigger I have them both fully pressed! Both drills have not been used that much cus I use my festool drill all the time and as you could see in the video both fully charged both have no bits not no slipping.

  • makita is better without question.Bosch is better only for Germans, for patriotic reasons

  • @mastouris69 bollocks mate

  • This is the kind of videos i like to see. real unbiased test. and very helpful to the end user. thank you very much i will subscribe. keep up the good work..

  • That's the old Bosch, I'm looking for a comparison between the Makita TD090DW vs the Bosch PS41-2A. I will agree the older Bosch is weaker, I'm just curious how the new one would compare

  • @Frosty1962

Yes very true but both dem drills where out at a similar time so it's still a fair test. Makita has not brought out a new one but Bosch has maybe cus they knew how weak der drill was.

If I get hold of the new one I'll do a video comparison with the new bosch.

  • @jmb69er

Fair enough, I've haven't actually used the Makita, I've heard it has some serious bawls though. I just received the new Bosch set from the fat man in the red suit. The new impact is rated at 930 in/lbs of torque..... on paper. One thing I can say about thew new impact, it's much smaller and it looks like a larger motor than the older one. Have you seen the new DeWalt 12 Volt Max? It's larger then all of the compacts I've seen, but I have an idea it's going to be a powerhouse.

  • @Frosty1962

Having owned both the bosch ps-41 has more torque and is a nicer drill than the makita. But it is also heavier and expensive. I found the price difference vs performance makes the makita the winner. Besides when you need to drive a 4" woodscrew, your not going to use a 10.8v drill.

  • @charginmahlazors

I see your point about cost vs performance/build quality. I primarily use my impact for installing/removing smaller tech screws on A/C and refrigeration racks. I usually use my DeWalt 18 volt impact for 4" dry wall screws. Here's the good part, my wife gave me the CLPK27-120 kit for Christmas, $99.00 out the door for an unopened brand new kit. That's 2 batteries, charger, the reduced sized pocket driver and impact driver. Needless to say, I'm happy, pretty cool huh?

  • @Frosty1962

Very nice, I'd take that any day of the week for that price. Enjoy!

  • thanks for the test review. i know makita rules now. top man

  • bocsh is weak

  • uk?

  • @MrFlorinbalasa

    Yes UK why you ASK?
