I live a bit closer to the American border where most of the cities are. I used to live further up into the country, though. We had huge beavers up there. One even chased me and my cousins out of the woods. I think she was out looking for food with her babies with her, since I noticed them before she ran us off.

Thankfully, he was scared shitless, too, so I just grabbed my niece and him and bolted. She chased us all the way up to the cabin and wandered off after a while. Like I said, I think we had just wandered too close to her babies while exploring the swamp behind our cabin and no one got hurt.

And yeah, I did, but not that day. It's not the first time an animal chased us out. A badger chased us out of another part of the woods, but it wasn't as scary as that beaver.
