I'm not sure if this was posted already, but the "I'm the coolest" line was actually just put in there for the English script. In the original Japanese dialogue, Shadow says "How interesting..." the first time he takes damage during that battle. I'm not sure why they changed it since they didn't have to match lip flaps or anything, but I do agree, it's waaay out of character. :P

Rose was more of a bimbo, but how the heck did she find the top secret military base with a hammer and no brain in the middle of the ocean? Not much of a secret base. But shadow is god, but i felt his own game "Shadow the Hedgehog" for psp2 confused the story line. I LOVE shadow and yet there was 12 different storys for him in that game?! I want to know the true shadow story....

I think shadow as a character has a lot of pride as well, however he does have a bad confidence as well, especially after his encounter with sonic

The main thing that annoys me about this game is that as soon as you die, you loose ALL of your score. So it's virtualy impossible to get any higher than an E grade if you die even once.

Also, if you haven't found out by now, to get an A-rank on the shipyard level (the name of which has slipped my mind), you basicly have to lightspeed dash as much as you can, then jump off the side of where the first spring is, hit a couple of enemies and light dash up to the top bit of the rocket.

The reason why shadow said "Im the coolest" is in this point in time sonic is very steamed at him and he just sees him as so era gent that he might as well say that so its really the characters perspective of the whole story in like the in game experience.

Y'know, I think I might be the only person who's ever played SA2B and LOVED the treasure hunting levels. Whenever I go back and play just for the hell of it, I always go to Pumpkin Hill first. It's my absolute favorite. I liked them because I like to be able to explore, which is nearly impossible in the running and shooting levels. Which I also enjoyed. I like games that have multiple gameplay types.
