Agnosticism is a cop out! You have a choice to make 1) Believe that we spontaniously emerged from SLIME( ROFL) or the an ALL LOVING POWERFUL "GOD" of the universe created man and Jesus his only son died for you so you may have life eternal! GET ON YOUR KNEES while you can and BEG for mercy from your maker!
You are right, agnosticism is a cop out! To even entertain that a "god" might have done all this (the universe and everything that is in it) is a total ROFL ludicrous claim without any supporting evidence whatsoever.
There's plenty of evidence for those who have an open mind, but those people are intelligent unlike yourself!! Sorry but have a good life cleaning stains off of toilets anyway! : )
That's just it, I have an open mind and have looked at the question. No evidence = no god.
I don't clean toilets for a living, I run Asia Pacific for a European electronics company. I have people to clean toilets for me but thanks for your thoughts.
Religion's a cop out. It teaches you that what you're told is what you know and what you discover isn't necessarily true unless the church says it is, thus you can live a life free of hard questions and the trouble of research.

that His name be glorified in His Word.
Romans 1:22 "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,".
Of course science needs money. Scientists are always fitting the artifacts and altering them to fit their agenda of how man should live according to his own will instead of God's. There's alot more people that want to do what they want to do instead of what God wants them to do. That's why science makes so much money too. That's another reason why you can't be for God as you say.
As far as taxes go, that's a matter of government. I'm not from Switzerland so I don't have any say in what goes on there. I do know, however, that the US government funds schools through local and state taxes, so the problem is solved by either moving to a new school district or getting more involved in local government. Nobody is ever 100% happy with what their taxes are spent on. If the issue means that much to you, find somewhere that doesn't spend tax money on teaching evolution.
little girl in my area died becuase her parents were christian scientists, she had diabetes and was not given treatment. She died and now they are in prison for child neglect. Its absolutely insane to beleive Christ or God will heal you, this is the true dichotomy of Religion and Science.
and no, we aren't dangerous idiots..it's a battle of faith vs faith, not faith science...science can be proven through the scientific method, so when somethings PROVEN, you can't argue it...we christians are totally cool with that..Macroevolution aka survival of the fittest is legit too..but a lot of other things are questionable..the thing we Christians feel is that if one theory/faith is going to be taught, the others should be taught as well..
for something to be taught scientifically in school, it must first qualify as science by having been scientifically tested. the scientific process, creationism has NEVER been put up to this, probably because they know it can't be proven, and there's only evidence disproving it
instead creationists are being unethical, and trying to by-pass the scientific process and get it put directly into textbooks.
having scientific discussions with the average american is like going back 300 years in time
Yes, so it's taught as a THEORY, just like evolution is taught as a THEORY..and dude, there's "evidence" disproving and proving both, so don't give me that...
theory is the scientific observation of a fact. if evolution is being taught as non-fact in your country, then thats intellectual dishonesty
evolution is as substantiated as is the theory of electricity, or gravity
you shouldn't pretend you're qualified to comment on the authenticity of evolution, when you don't even understand the correct use of the word "theory"
Um... no, this isn't how it works. Science is baised on mountains upon mountians of scientific data trying to prove a certain theory using facts to enhance it. It is then pounded and reviewed by the tough academic arena known today. Creationism isn't science, it's faith in a magic man who poofed everything.
If you want to let the kids decide everything, might as well teach them the earth is flat, or that the sun revolves around the earth, or gravity is a myth.
who said anything about letting kids decide? and why is evolution still being taught as a supposed "Theory?" and yes, that's the word the teacher used..
Who's saying they should let the kids decide? Well, everyone who wants Creationisim in the classroom. They argue that the kids should decide weather or not Evolution or Intelligent Design is better, which is simply poor religion pounded into classrooms.
Evolution is still taught as a Theory because there is still information and facts that we can add to it. We don't know everything about Evolution yet, but we're looking. Trust someone who seeks the truth rather then one who claims to have it.
My qualifacations? Well, I have studied both aspects very carefully, also obtaining my science degree in university allows me plenty of material to my advantage. I have studied various data about the genome in many different organisims. Once you see the big picture, its fairly difficult to not accept Evolution.
Why is it in dispute? Simply because it does not agree with the church's version of God creating everything.
Evolution can be and was observed via transitional fossils and DNA.
While I'm at it, there is no evidence of Intelligent Design, only speculation. Since a cell is complicated, they say it's too hard to find out how it was created so they say "Someone made it". This is not evidence, nor will it ever be.
Evolution has gathered real data from DNA, Fossils, Organic Chemistry, Atomic Theory, etc. The process has gone through the Academic process, while ID attemps to bypass it by getting the government to do it for them.
Science is a method that baises of information, facts, hypotheises etc. We could not have advanced this far without the knowledge of all scientists before us, all of their works documented in academic papers and books for us to study and improve upon.
It makes me feel good that when I'm long and dead, the small and insignificant work done by my hand will play a small role (no matter how small) in improving people's lifes. This is why science is important, yet creationists wish to tarnish it.
"Tarnish" might be a massive understatement. There is tremendous evidence to suggest that the higher-ups in "creation science" and in the various political movements associated with it are trying to destroy science, or at least control all the information it produces, which comes to the same thing. Many blame science on aetheism, which they then blame on crime as well as behavior THEY consider reckless (abortion, porn, sex, drugs, rap, disobedience, etc.) It's scary listening to some of them.
The "higher-ups" in "Creation science" are horribly dishonest. They can be compaired to dirty and sneaky salesmen who ommit certain truths and tell half-lies in order to make what's convincing, not what's honest.
They know they're lying, yet they make millions of dollars of fake healings, creation books, mega-churches, DVDs and videos as well as avoiding taxes. They will never admit they're wrong because to do so means to throw away their only source of income.
..Christians believe that God is, was, and always will be...the origins of God, if there are any, are unknown to us...same with those of the speck that blew up...I'm a Christian btw
About 2 years ago, I was in an advanced biology class that tought BOTH evolutionism and creationism...all in all, it really comes down to whether you believe that man came from an Intelligent Designer, and whether the origin of all that exists came from a little speck...it's a religion in itself, which poses questions, just like Christianity, that can't be answered with the information we have today
Trust me... eternal life would be horrible. Oh sure, the first few thousand years would be nice... but what about the next thousand... or the next million... or the next billion... or the next trillion years? You would be robbed of purpose, which is worst then being dead in the first place.
Live life for today, do what makes you feel good, explore the world, see it in it's glorious grandure and beauty. It's by having fun that makes life worth living...
i know this is an old post, but its damn hilarious that all you learned about evolution in your "advanced biology" class was that ' man came from a speck'
you must not have been paying much attention! ESPECIALLY when you use your word evolutionism!
Sharon Lynn (youtube account BLESSEDone333) made video RESPONSE to this video (see above) Sadly, she is a complete moron. Soon after someone posts a substantive pro-evolution comment on her response video, she will permanently block them because she lacks the competence to argue her case using anything besides her faith in religion. Sharon Lynn is 43+ years old, and is a prime example of what we could expect of our children if the creation science retards ever get their way on this issue.
I suspect she suffers from one or more mental disorders as well for she has thrown in an alien abduction theory to fill in where the bible falls short in providing relevant explanations on the general subject.

After researching the early writings of NT Christianity from a historical perspective I have come to ONE conclusion which is:
1. The evidence for Jesus Christ to have risen from the dead(divine)is paper thin at best.
2.The bible was indeed written by men with an agenda and it IS NOT inspired by God!
3. The bible has many errors and has been altered a number of times!

George Bush is teaching school now?

no, evolution cannot be proved in a lab because its a billion year process

little girl in my area died becuase her parents were christian scientists, she had diabetes and was not given treatment. She died and now they are in prison for child neglect. Its absolutely insane to beleive Christ or God will heal you, this is the true dichotomy of Religion and Science.
OnWisconsin42 3 years ago
and no, we aren't dangerous idiots..it's a battle of faith vs faith, not faith science...science can be proven through the scientific method, so when somethings PROVEN, you can't argue it...we christians are totally cool with that..Macroevolution aka survival of the fittest is legit too..but a lot of other things are questionable..the thing we Christians feel is that if one theory/faith is going to be taught, the others should be taught as well..
RomasaleenA59 3 years ago
for something to be taught scientifically in school, it must first qualify as science by having been scientifically tested. the scientific process, creationism has NEVER been put up to this, probably because they know it can't be proven, and there's only evidence disproving it
instead creationists are being unethical, and trying to by-pass the scientific process and get it put directly into textbooks.
having scientific discussions with the average american is like going back 300 years in time
IzzyBunneh 3 years ago
Yes, so it's taught as a THEORY, just like evolution is taught as a THEORY..and dude, there's "evidence" disproving and proving both, so don't give me that...
RomasaleenA59 3 years ago
theory is the scientific observation of a fact. if evolution is being taught as non-fact in your country, then thats intellectual dishonesty
evolution is as substantiated as is the theory of electricity, or gravity
you shouldn't pretend you're qualified to comment on the authenticity of evolution, when you don't even understand the correct use of the word "theory"
IzzyBunneh 3 years ago
Teach both? Let the kids decide?
Um... no, this isn't how it works.
Sedalb 3 years ago
and your high qualifications are?
and if it's so certain that evolution is a fact, why is it in dispute?
And the theory of electricity can be reproduced in a lab...evolution CANNOT
RomasaleenA59 3 years ago
who said anything about letting kids decide? and why is evolution still being taught as a supposed "Theory?" and yes, that's the word the teacher used..
RomasaleenA59 3 years ago
Who's saying they should let the kids decide? Well, everyone who wants Creationisim in the classroom. They argue that the kids should decide weather or not Evolution or Intelligent Design is better, which is simply poor religion pounded into classrooms.
Evolution is still taught as a Theory because there is still information and facts that we can add to it. We don't know everything about Evolution yet, but we're looking. Trust someone who seeks the truth rather then one who claims to have it.
Sedalb 3 years ago
My qualifacations? Well, I have studied both aspects very carefully, also obtaining my science degree in university allows me plenty of material to my advantage. I have studied various data about the genome in many different organisims. Once you see the big picture, its fairly difficult to not accept Evolution.
Why is it in dispute? Simply because it does not agree with the church's version of God creating everything.
Evolution can be and was observed via transitional fossils and DNA.
Sedalb 3 years ago 2
While I'm at it, there is no evidence of Intelligent Design, only speculation. Since a cell is complicated, they say it's too hard to find out how it was created so they say "Someone made it". This is not evidence, nor will it ever be.
Evolution has gathered real data from DNA, Fossils, Organic Chemistry, Atomic Theory, etc. The process has gone through the Academic process, while ID attemps to bypass it by getting the government to do it for them.
Sedalb 3 years ago
Science is a method that baises of information, facts, hypotheises etc. We could not have advanced this far without the knowledge of all scientists before us, all of their works documented in academic papers and books for us to study and improve upon.
It makes me feel good that when I'm long and dead, the small and insignificant work done by my hand will play a small role (no matter how small) in improving people's lifes. This is why science is important, yet creationists wish to tarnish it.
Sedalb 3 years ago
Dude you speak very well you should make videos on this seriously
argetfalcon 3 years ago
"Tarnish" might be a massive understatement. There is tremendous evidence to suggest that the higher-ups in "creation science" and in the various political movements associated with it are trying to destroy science, or at least control all the information it produces, which comes to the same thing. Many blame science on aetheism, which they then blame on crime as well as behavior THEY consider reckless (abortion, porn, sex, drugs, rap, disobedience, etc.) It's scary listening to some of them.
EebstertheGreat 3 years ago

RomasaleenA59 3 years ago
About 2 years ago, I was in an advanced biology class that tought BOTH evolutionism and creationism...all in all, it really comes down to whether you believe that man came from an Intelligent Designer, and whether the origin of all that exists came from a little speck...it's a religion in itself, which poses questions, just like Christianity, that can't be answered with the information we have today
RomasaleenA59 3 years ago
however, its not static and acquires new information all the time. Religion used a single premise and bases reality off of that, it gets us no where.
OnWisconsin42 3 years ago
well, it gets you out of Hell..I'd say that's not half bad :)
RomasaleenA59 3 years ago
Trust me... eternal life would be horrible.
Sedalb 3 years ago
Lol, The fear of hell the one thing we athiest do not have, the one thing we can't compete with. All we have is facts and evidence.
argetfalcon 3 years ago
i know this is an old post, but its damn hilarious that all you learned about evolution in your "advanced biology" class was that ' man came from a speck'
you must not have been paying much attention! ESPECIALLY when you use your word evolutionism!
pure comedy gold!

wow... how stupid, its that the best you can do. that video just proves how dumb evolution is, and the people who follow it.

Why do creationist think the people who support the theory with a mountain of evidence over theory with evidence against it are stupid..

Yet another Christian making a biased claim without structured evidence to support it.
