Soundgarden..WOW. What a Band!! Chris is some singer. Very emotional songs, and harmonies.I miss the 90s. Where the Fuck did all of this Great Music go??
i wish i appreciated soundgarden more in the 90s...it was just simply there...but like in 05-06' i started listening to it heavily and appreciateing alice in chains, soungarden, STP, nirvana, pearl jam, mud honey...etc..
Friend of mine was around that scene back in the day so was familiar with A.I.C., Pearl jam, Sound garden, Mother Love Bone ect but know what you mean about appreciating it more now...
MrHeavymetalfreak....the video is about these scientists (who represent the outside world influences) as they show Chris the versions of love family, etc. as HE knows it and likes it. Then they try to pervert his world by exposing him to conflicting images of love family, etc. Chris figuratively destroys those negative influences by rejecting their advances. The basic message is, don't let the outside world tarnish those ideals you hold sacred.
What a nice song.. for me the best ever band in the world!! this song combines with intellectual and down to earth loving song.. for the people who walks in pain since birth who still alive right now.. yeah!! this song is great really inspiring!! I'm getting really emo in this song.. To Chris Cornell your the great!! I'm Ryann from Philippines thanks for ur great sounds thanks!! Godbless!! :-)
Ive heard recently a phrase "fuck on the floor and break shit" - Im not a native speaker so plz forgive me if im offendin someone - Im not quite sure about the usage of such a phrase but Ive got a notion it corresponds a bit to what i feel when i listen to Soundgarden( and to Audioslave as well.. and wouldn't say i feel this way when i hear "Scream" but that's another story ;))
Soundgarden and Rage. Two awesome bands! Audioslave is also awesome! But Chris singing Rage songs, not awesome. Quite painful actually. Why do I bring this up? I have no idea.
Then again, if Zack tried to sing Audioslave or Soundgarden songs, that would probably be even more painful than Chris singing Rage tunes. Tom Morello is a very talented musician for knowing how to write to blend with his singer's voice. You hear a lot of lower bass notes to blend with Zack's rapping and a lot of melodies to blend with Chris's soulful singing.
Soundgarden are masters, speakin of Big Brother, its like 1984 more than u think, watch ur govt double speak u right out of every liberty we have left. "Change We Can Believe In"

Soundgarden and AiC are the two best grunge bands I think. Nirvana can get a little too poppy for me. Another thing I love about Soundgarden & AiC is that even though their songs may sound depressing at first they usually resolve it with hope towards the end. Nirvana just doesn't do that for me
I wish this fucker would stick with one band and continue to put out music. The best voice in Rock in my opinion. He won't get back with Soundgarden so he should have stayed with Audioslave that was a great band.
