@bluesbiker1963 It's an original called "Tried her Best" which i wrote in 2010. We have live versions of it on here and it's available for sale on my site and I'll put it on the itunes etc soon too. .shanesband. com
watch GEAR UP TECH 21 TRADEMARK 10 if you want to see what these amps can really do".you wanted to know about Harmonics?.hee hee he"...oh yes" the lil devil will do any tone!...BTW..any amp will sound shit if the treble is turned up too much.watch that demo and you WILL be impressed!
This thang is still an unsurpassed technical wonder. With some minor tweeks you change your sound from SRV to Led Zep to Jazz.. At bedroom level as well. No modeling ; it's pure analog signals we're talkin about here without any digital approach. Own it for over 6 years, no longing for tubes. How did they do it?
You made a great buy. I've had mine since 2004 done loads of Blues, Funk, Soul, Jazz gigs including a 25 night run in a theatre show. Very reliable and without doubt the best SS amp around. Les Paul used one of these for years. Not a tube amp but close, One small problem for new buyers is the controls are very sensitive. The key to the clean channel is the PUNCH - midrange, and the OD channel GROWL... these are the key controls. Loads of good sounds out of this combo.
Tubes amps are all about FEEL. I've had many different tubes amps. some are very sensitive to touch, such as matchless and budda and some Dr Z and so on. I think they're tooo sensitive, but for a good player there's nothing like it.. They do take time getting used to. Marshalls and Fenders are less sensitive to touch, but thats wut i prefer. I've never herd a SS amp sound like a matchless, EVER !
"Umm" hahaha I found myself always hearing the "umm"'s every 4 or 5 words. Good explanation of the amp layout much enjoyed. Tone is wicked. I would def buy one of these as i can never seem to have enough amps lol
Great amp, I have the 1x12 Trademark 60. It imediatedly became my main amp, I use a line6 Pod X3 live in front of it. My last amp before this one was a Fender Hot Rod Deville, I miss nothing from it exept volume in rare situations. The solution will be a 2x12 Trademark.
Nice playing and great sound! I'm considering buying a 1x12 TM60 as a backup amp. Have you had the chance to try the 1x12 model and how does it compare to your 2x12 model? Apart from the number of speakers they are supposed to have exactly the same specs and features.
Funny thing is that this does sound like a tube/valve amp.....do you feel the warmth and power form it like a tube amp...very comparable to a lot of tube makes out there.....
I own a Trademark 30 and a Trademark 60 2x12 and I can recommend these amps to everyone, I´ve never missed a Tubeamp, they really do have the warmth of tubes, hard to distinguish from a tube amp!
@KingTabor I can't really say it works great with pedals because I don't think I've really needed to use them with it. I have a tried an o/d pedal one gig but I found it compressed/fuzzied the sound up a little. The boost switch on the amps foot pedal does the job nicely. I'm sure it would work with all pedals though depending on the sound you start with.
i have one of these. they have great tone. if set up correctly you can get a jtm 45 , jcm 800, sound outta these. trust me i have this its a cool lllloooouuuudddd amp. you can plug a cab thru the back .awesome!

my trademark 60 has quite a bit of hum in the background on both channels and also the boost / reverb area.. does yours? Or maybe I possibly have a ground issue.
@zordakAU they are a great amp man, people always comment on the tone of this thing when I play it live. You can make any guitar sound good in it, unlike most amps out there.
Have to agree with intheblues here, these amps are FAT and WARM sounding, and the best part is they sound the same at bedroom volume as they do in clubs. I play this amp out several times a week and get more compliments on my tone and playing on this amp then any other amp I own, and that includes a real '66 Super Reverb, a Blues Jr, Blues Deluxe, Peavey Classic 30, Fender Roc Pro 1000. This amp has become my go to amp for most everything. Super versatile, super responsive to touch. Cleans up!
Hey Mate - I use 2 Tech 21 Power Engines for my Wet-Dry-Wet rig and they really rock! I'm on the lookout for a good little combo, and it seems to me that the Trademark 60 is the ticket... I do have a question. When you dial in a VH / (Hot-Rodded) AC/DC tone... does the speaker struggle, particularly with the bass frequencies? Does it keep it together at higher levels?
On another note - thanks for sharing the great video. I may go with the 1x12 option of a Trademark 30... any thoughts?
Indeed, I have one and its a GREAT amp. really happy with my purchase. I've played $2000 marshalls that don't sound as good as this thing can for $600.
That had some amazing sounds for a transitor amp. It would seem it is the best of both worlds. You have to sound of a tube amp without the tube maintainence.
Great demo and dude, great playing!!! I LOVE my Trademark 60, got it when it first came out. You can lose yourself in tweaking if you want, or just crank it. Played it on some club gigs and it sounded great with a Les Paul. I have some clips of me playing through my old Trademark 10, check em out.
Yeah it's got a guide that comes with the amp on how to set it up for all sorts of music. It's got a mid scoop on there too perfect for thrashy heavy metal stuff :)
whats the name of the son in minute 04:01 ? i know this, but i cant remember the song title...can you help me or something else ? best regards

@kdc300z it buzzes a little yeah, nothing "too loud" in my experience.
I would suggest trying it in a different room or house/venue and see how it goes some power points are so noisy.

Bloody hard to get in Sydney though, had to order mine from Adelaide!
