I'm doing great, no more anxiety or depression, of course I do still have bad days sometimes, but don't we all? I'm happy i got off Lexapro easy and didn't have any side effects. Hope you are doing fine and no matter how bad days get, always remember - There is sun behind every cloud!
@sasha88ize - you should always bombard your doc with questions and not feel bad about it. They dont feel bad about taking you money either, right? :-)
General rule, if you feel bad or worse on a low dose, go up a little (worked for me), but double check with your doctor - always!
Hello, I am 19 and my doctor gave me lexapro for mild depression... I am scared. Scared of taking it. I was thinking perhaps just taking one and seeing the effects, but I checked online and the list of possible side effects is HUGE...
Your glasses are gone! Getting off lexapro has cured your vision!
I went off lexapro super fast (i.e. 20mg to 0mg in one night) and I did get a few "weird" affects but nothing that I'd call particularly painful. It's just that they lasted for three weeks. Had I just tapered down over 3 weeks I would have been fine I think.

i think with lexapro ,dosage is very important.
i'm having a hard time figuring out right dosage for myself.
asking my dr. about dosage feels like i'm bothering him too much and i really don't want to annoy him.
feels like drs are avoiding you when u r asking 2 many questions.
but how i suppose to know the right dosage?
so,i've desided to listen to my inner voice and my body when it comes to dosage.
still,i'm not improving in that area.
can someone help?

omega 3 and vitamin d helps with lexapro withdrawal, i was on 20mg now on 8mg with no major probl!
