i don't know how realistic this reenactment is, but if the pilot was as neglectful in real life as in this scene, he should not ever be permitted to fly a commercial airplane again. it's also possible that the reenactment over-stated his neglect, but that would be puzzling -- why?

When the fuel is decreasing dramatically it's a clear indication of a fuel leak, shoudnt have done the fuel cross feeding, in that way you would have atleast had one good engine rather than no engine.

the x feed valve should be designs so it can only open it the planes computers do not detect a leak

@elliottking1 i dont think its the pilots fault. i mean they cant be absolutely positive that there is a leak. its like a 50, 50 guess
