  • everyone knows this isn't disney right? =P still, beautiful song. beautiful language.

  • Nice, nice. I love Russian and I understand words. But... The best dubbing ever is Polish ; )

  • I can´t understand a word, but I love the russian version of this song. As the story is set in Russia, it sounds more "real" when she sings in russian :)

  • @NamesOfCats I can translate)))

  • The language seems to in place with history through the song...

  • I'll be singing this in my wedding to my beloved. In Russian, despite I'm Finnish. I just love Russian ^^

  • Amazing! Except Anastasia is definitely not a Disney movie. Sounds gorgeous in Russian.

  • I like english better

  • i love this lenguage! :D

  • One of the most beautiful versions in my opinion.

  • Where did you get the music?????

  • Каждый раз, когда слушаю эту песню или пересматриваю этот мультик, снова и снова влюбляюсь в свою страну :)

  • i know russian quite well. i'm not russian but i do <3

  • Who is the voice of anastasia in portuguese ?

  • man Historically incorrect but less depressing. Awesome song

  • I have an OBSESSION about Russia that started with the russian part of Aprés Moi by Regina Spektor. Then I remembered this movie from my childhood, and I just watched it. This scene made me cry, the song + video it's so powerful, beautiful and sad. I LOVE Russia. I want to go there. I want to speak Russian. I want to know more about that family, the Rovanovs. I want to live in this world - I have this imagination of black fur coats and onion-roofed palaces! Wow, chills. I'm so fascinated. <3

  • russian is an awesome language!

  • How old is this movie? Why does everyone keep calling this a "Disney masterpiece?" This film wasn't near the quality of Disney, though it surely was a pretty-looking movie with cute songs that entertained kids. But it's a Don Bluth film, which looks different from Disney if you pay attention. Bluth worked in Disney, but years and years before this movie was made, and his style is seen in other films he did like Rock A Doodle, Pebble and The Penguin, American Tale, etc.

  • @MissReige It was released in 1997, which would make it currently at thirteen years old. A lot of people think this movie is by Disney because people are stupid. /Shrug. The style of the movie is actually very, very different from Disney's style, and I prefer it much more.

This movie is incredibly beautiful. <3

  • @neylakinz They're not stupid because they think it's from Disney. Just nobody ever told them really.

  • @YouStoleMyTube It was a lame excuse without much behind it. And wouldn't the beginning of the film signify what it was by?

  • @neylakinz You're a pathetic excuse for a human. Let me tell you something, intelligence ≠ knowledge, get that through your brain. First of all, there is a correspondence between intelligence and knowledge, but they *do not* always go hand in hand. An idiot who knows many facts is not superior to an intelligent person who does not know those facts. Because if given the opportunity, the intelligent person will learn faster. I've just destroyed your position that not knowing something = stupidity.

  • @YouStoleMyTube Oh, okay, so I'm not allowed to state something that I didn't in any way fully believe in, yet you are allowed to judge me right off the bat? Check your hypocrisy levels before you attack someone, especially as I never intended for that to offend anyone which led to my giving up in even considering to formulate an argument.

  • @YouStoleMyTube Also, since you're attacking me and judging me without a second thought, I'd like to inform you that this type of nonsensical behaviour shows your own stupidity quite clearly.

    Ah, your hypocrisy levels just keep rising, eh? (;

  • @neylakinz It's obvious that a fool such as yourself can not be reasoned with. You are the hypocrite for calling others stupid when you yourself possess the same trait.

  • @YouStoleMyTube I cannot be reasoned with? What a pathetic excuse to mask your own error in this argument. You irrationally attacked me for no reason; I told you twice, possibly three times, that when I said people were stupid for not knowing who created this movie, that I had not meant it nor had even believed in it. It indeed, as I have clearly already admitted, was a lame excuse with nothing backing it. And yet you still judge me. How am I the one being stupid? I admitted to defeat; you..

  • @YouStoleMyTube are the one who seems to believe that you are superiour in this argument, which is entirely false and extremely narrow-minded. Think, breathe, analyse. You are in much more fault than I am at this point, and it is a shallow attempt to try to keep yourself flawless. To add to this, your narrow-mindedness is blinding your vision, so you are not seeing the situation clearly and this is stupidity at a great high point. Congratulations, asshat, you're a part of the stupid people.

  • There is the song with subtitles in YouTube!

  • @TheYellowOrangeFox8D It's okay, my dad has half Portuguese and all I know in Portuguese is the word "sim", but I don't even know what it means!!!! We can fail together!!!

  • you know, I've often wondered why Anastasia isn't one of the classic disney princesses! they would do to have a Slavic princess in the mix!

  • i'm so glad i'm learning russian... i love it...:)

  • Lovely~

Buuut Anastasia is from 20th Century Fox, not Disney. :I

  • wow O.O *wishs she knew russian.. but dont :( *

P.S. I from Russia (If someone is interested)

  • If Anastasia had randomly burst out into song in real life, this is what is would have sounded like

  • anastsia is by twentith century fox, not disney silly bo billers

  • Anastasia isn't a Disney film, it's a Don Bluth film.

  • Perfect language for The wonderful Anastasia, off course :)

  • I любовь этот фильм

  • @buffygal200 Я любовь этот фильм

  • @buffygal200 Correct to say "Я люблю этот фильм" - "Ya lublu etot film"

  • @AlexeyChurkin heeey teach me some :))) plz

  • Hahaha Its funny cause Anastaisa IS Russian

Valcer je kružio i nosio me, uvlačeći me u svoju bajku. Prvi bal i prvi valcer, čujem ih i sada. Gledala sam u ćilibar koji je odražavao moje ushićenje. Neko je pevao u zoru, napuštajući rodnu kuću: Bićeš ti, u decembru, ponovo sa mnom, draga.
  • Like a pattern on the window, the past is near again, someone sang a song to me during the winter nights. As if the past has revived the warmth of someone's hands waltz of exquisite guests and run of mighty horses. Waltz spinned and carried me, dragging me in it's fairytale, the first ball and the first waltz that I can hear now. I mirrored in amber that reflected my delight. Someone sang at dawnbreak while leaving her home: You will be, in December, again with me, my darling.
  • It's really fiting to have this verison of the song. It just so notural

  • Best in Russian, even though I don't understand. It just seems natural for this movie.

  • Yeah it's good to hear it in it's "mother language' :)

  • @yatze8000-

Ras- once or when you are listing something with numbers it means one. Adin is one in regulat counting.

    Dvwa- 2

Chleb- bread but with a jewish ch sound.

Yeah, and this comes from my earx the way that I pronounce it when I talk.

Song is even more amazing in the language.:)

  • Sounds so perfect in Russian :D:D:D I looove the language, too bad I know nothing about it :P... but I still love how it sounds!!!

  • @anitahbplumita I only know a few vocabulries.

    Niet-No

    Ras-One

    Twa- two

    Klepp-Bread

  • @yatze8000

actually two is dva and bread is hleb. I speak Russian with a Ukrainian accent so I could be a bit off but I think its like that

  • @yatze8000

    Dwa* and Hleb

  • @yatze8000

actually correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure one is Один (Odin) and two is Два (Dva)

  • @yatze8000 i believe bread is hleb .... not klepp

  • @ImmortalCRO yes, but it's pronounced kindof like "klepp", but more of a "chleb"

  • @tmh726 no it's pronounced like it's written..."hleb"...me being croatian and therefore slavic is why i know how to pronounce slavic words...duh

  • @ImmortalCRO ok, sorry. I guess it's different in Ukrainian.

  • @tmh726 oh, you're ukrainian? o.O ...well, I'M sorry then xD I thought you were some pretentious american or something. If you're truly Ukrainan then you probably know much more about Russian than I do...I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions

  • @ImmortalCRO :-) it's OK. I am an American, but my grandmother taught me Polish and Ukrainian (and my grandfather taught me Slovak, and a friend is teaching me Serbian). I'm fluent in Ukrainian, but yes, I am an American. I can get around speaking Russian, though. Russian is similar to Ukrainian.

  • @yatze8000 I couldn't stop laughing, I'm sorry. It's "hlepp" not "klepp." X"DD And it's also "dva" not "twa."

  • @yatze8000

    Bread-Hleb

    Two-Dva

  • Comment removed

  • @yatze8000 Нет, раз, два и хлеб

  • @yatze8000

However your spelling is all wrong.

    Net, нет

    Raz, раз

    Dva, два

    Hleb (pronounced Khleb), хлеб

  • @yatze8000 Net - No

    Raz/Odin - One

    Dva - Two

    Hleb - Bread :)

  • @yatze8000

    correction

    Nyet- No

    ah-deen- one

    dvah- two

  • @Apacofish666 We have different words for "One". "Ahdeen" (odin) is correct, but Ras (raz) is correct too. I can't explain you why we use two versions, my english is too bad for this(

  • @yatze8000

    Ahdeen-One (Один)

  • @anitahbplumita i rather disagree with the pronunciation written by yatze8000

    its more like

    No-Net

    Yes-Da

    One-Raz or Odin

    Two-Dva

    Bread-Hleb

  • @anitahbplumita I am Russian and happy to answer any questions

  • @AlexeyChurkin it seems imposible to learn ^^"

  • Imposible? NO! ))

    Let's try:

"I love you my darling!" - Ya lublyu tebya moya dorogaya!

    "Hello!" - Priv'et!

"What a wonderful day!" - Kakoy prekrasniy den'!

    ;)

  • this isn't a disney masterpiece. it was made by fox.

  • this sounds way better in russian than in english.

  • @tiannabanana100 Well, technically with the movie's setting, Russian is the language they would be using. Maybe that's why?

  • this my song..

  • i thank 20th century fox made this movie?

  • @osojack22 Yes,but it has got a Disneylook.

  • @yatze8000 Still not Disney, though.

  • @yatze8000 It was meant to have the Disney look. Anastasia was created by Don Bluth (creator of Thumbelina and the Secret of Nimh) and animated at the Fox Animation Studios before it went under a few years later (sometime after they created Bartox the Magnificent I think...) and was released under 20th Cent. Fox. Sorry. I'm an animation student and I get a little riled since a lot of people mistake Anastasia for being a Disney film. ^^; Thank you for uploading this though. I love it. <3

  • @osojack22 In fact it is a Disney movie.

  • @GenDuanna Don Bluth. Not Disney.

  • @GenDuanna Nope, not Disney. Animated by Don Bluth and released by Fox Animation Studios.

  • Yay Un-Disney songs. :)

It's so pretty in Russian, then again - a lot of things are.

  • what a perfect version :D

well, she is a russian princess : )

  • I love her voice :3

    (I'm from Norway)

  • This song in russian fits so perfectly for this film. Anastasia was a Russian princess, so only perfect language for this film is russian. x)

  • This song is the best in Russian and Greek. So beautiful.. who is singing in russian?

  • Anastasia actually belongs to the 20th Century Fox, not Disney... but it's a lovely movie all the same.

  • It sounds so natural in Russian.

  • Thank you.

  • @AnarchistGoth Definitely agree.

  • I'm so proud to be Russian :) I love this movie, I wish Disney made a russian movie too P: I think it would be pretty coool, considering this isn't the only time=period of Russia.
