About my original post: I am completely aware of fillers, i read the manga before watching the anime. I was merely pointing out the inconsistency of Ichigos power and the anime writers ability to gauge his power. I know its for plot, but they could at least justify it by making bounts so much more powerful than all allies of ichigo who are not of the same caliber of him, rather than simply nerfing our main protagonist

Well actualy this scene is logical since Ichigo has already been able to defeat Kenpachi Zaraki before this so why not be able to defeat 3 Leiutenants? Besides, the captains classified him as a ryoka of captain level right? XP btw, best scene ever!

He did beat Zaraki but i normally think of it as sort of the name thing as when Ishida beat Mayuri, Ichigo and Ishida would have died after they won if it werent for someone saving their lives after like Yourichi and Nemu. They were both really close wins. still an awesome scene especially cuz of the music in the background! xD

like 10 seconds before that he stopped the damn phoenix with his blade no sweat.. the phoenix (cant remember its name atm) is equivalent to 1.000.000 soul slayers... and he beat ikkaku,kenpachi, and beats byakuya in the next episode.. very logical indeed he beats them that fast
