Virgin Mobile are lying, deceiving scumbags. I purchased a Motorola Triumph on Cyber Monday and received an order confirmation with an estimated 2-3 days for the phone to arrive. After not receiving tracking info I called to get more info, I was told that they had cancelled my order and that I was free to purchase the phone at the full non discounted price. I filed a formal complaint with the BBB and have contacted others who were victims of the same scam. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VM

First of all Sir Richard Branson only sold the license to Sprint, ha had not much to do with VM to begin with. Besides, WM is now owned by Sprint and since acquiring VM, Sprint has made an already bad situation even worse. Sprint will be the doom of Virgin Mobile.

@dkooker46 When you have "about a week left(which in my case means 3 weeks)" on your phone minutes you will start receiving automated calls reminding you to "top-up" immediately. These automated calls fail to remind you that when you "top-up" it resets your service and all CURRENT remaining minutes are voided.
In other words, if you have 2 weeks and 200 minutes left, then you "top-up" for 500 minutes, you have 4 weeks and 500 minutes TOTATL.
@Lcr2003 doesnt happen for me. when you top up dont click "restart my plan" if that doesn't show up, the people at virgin mobile might not like you. they love me :)
@Lcr2003 I assume you still use the top-up cards? Why don't you instead, put a debit card on file and they will autp-topup when needed. And if you only have enough money to put into your phone account, then they won't be aboe to "charge you too much".

i want to know what the average wait time is for a cell phone activation..i'v had my phone on pending activation for about first they said 24-48 hrs but now its 4-5 hours and now i was told i have to reprogramm it
i paid for 250 minutes and unlimited texts 22 pound a month..
i use up half of my 250 minutes and get charged an extra 28 pound extra, then when you add the local toll rate call and national toll rate call and the standard call charges and the 60pence? charge for texts ive been charged 60 pounds for 1 month... and last month i sent some picture messages of my new tattoo and they charged me 11pound extra for it.. this company owes me bigtime.
file a chargeback, like I did they scammed me same way, they sent me invoice / recipt only for amount of topup but once I gave them my credit card they charged me monthly fees, without any notification, so I did chargeback and they had to pay chargeback additional bank fees, do the same so they will stop this fraudulent activity if they will have to pay penalty fees to the banks.

i just bought my phone today and i already hate it. the phones slow, it has nothin on it, the battery needed charging after only two hours of being on, and their plans and shiot seem real shitty. i shoulda just got a nokia.

The K7 handset is old they DID offer $10 (even $20) at the time the new handsets don't even promise this and yes service calls are free now.

And you do get $10 on some phones if you are a new customer. Otherwise it's just $2.50 which is 10 mins of airtime.
