i figured out halo fours opening sequence! Remeber in halo: ghost of onyx the sentinels just all of a sudden activate and they start clearing the land away. They were probably activated when master chief killed 343 guilty sparks. This would explain why in the trailer it is all uncovered when they are crashing into it. Thats my story.

@NewHaloUpdates Actually, the Arbiter went to the bridge of the Forward Unto Dawn, not an escape pod, the damage done to the ship was due to the slipspace portal collapsing, so one half of the ship reached its destination; earth. This half contained the arbiter. the aft section of the ship was ejected from slipspace to somewhere completely random, to float around for years.

There is going to be a halo 4 because it has been announced. It goes something like this: Cortana tells master chief to wake up. He busts open the sleeping pod and floats out. They are being attacked by some giant robotic object with one light in the center. He looks out and sees that he is being pulled to something (either by gravity or tractor beam). And that is kind of how the clip goes. Note: The planet in halo three is not a forunner planet nor is it onyx it is a giant high tech thing.
