The author's fundamental premise is that RFK was the first "conspiracy theorist"--never accepting the Warren Commission's Report. It's an attempt to document RFK's investigation. In my humble opinion it is a book of sound and serious scholarship. Perhaps, you may find some of its contents convincing.

I believe the best thing that JFK did for this country was give it something to believe in. Since his death, there has been no other President able to step up and unite this country whether the people were united under an image or under a myth..for a few short years they were united.

Saddam Hussein did not come to power until 1979. JFK died in 1963. It was Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan that put Saddam Hussein in power primarily to fight Iran. The author's fundamental premise is that RFK was the first "conspiracy theorist"--never accepting the Warren Commission's Report. It's an attempt to document RFK's investigation. In my humble opinion it is a book of sound and serious scholarship. Perhaps, you may find some of its contents convincing.

JFK wasn't a perfect man, but he recognized the dangers the elite posed to our freedoms and future. See his speech on the dangers of secret societies in the world. Kennedy did one undeniably great thing. He prevailed over the Russians over Cuba. He had the character, insight and military experience to disregard the advice of Curtis Lemay and other hawks who wanted a nuclear war with Soviet Russia. Contrast this with Bush the AWOL frat boy who avoided the draft and thereby failed to gain the wisdom and perspective to create a viable foreign policy & win his war in Iraq.

President Kennedy was such a great man. No, he wasn't perfect but he made it a point of providing the best service to his country and to the world. After President JFK's assasination, the world has gone competely wrong. It seems like terrible things happen afterwards when the bad guys kill good guys. In this case, JFK was a good guy, and therefore, he was assassinated by the bad guys.
