well im still not really sure what kind of pen is used... seems like all of them work in a vector layer.... These videos are a little annoying... since they hardly give you any info... but sorta seem to just show off by speeding it up to crazy speeds.... Its a little frustrating....

From what I can tell.. from experimenting and watching this video... the line art is done using the Vector Pen tool in Comic Studio/Manga Studio...

It looks really clean in the video... but i wonder how clean it really is.... considering the video is such low res and we can't really zoom in on it.... lots of correction going on after the lines are drawn... and the video seems REALLY fast... so I think he/she probably spent a lot more time than it seems on the line art.... Hmm...

@yuanbohua Dude when he was doing the lines, he was using Comic Studio. It was obvious and then after he was done, he exported the file to Photoshop CS 3 for colouring. There is a transformation tool in Photoshop, but it isn't necessarily the same as the line "bending" thingy. Yeah.

Hello, I need some help.

How come he can bend the lines of the hair? when his using PS.

i am aware of the PEN tool

but the pen tool cant do that.

And he is not using Comic Studio.

Please tell me if u know how to bend like he does =)

@BlazeRojhat : Hey listen, when he was doing that he was using comic studio.

So he really wasn't using PS for that..and as far as I know there isn't an option like that in PS..but Japanese softwares like Comic Studio, Illustudio, etc seem to be having that option.

its normally penicl but you can use a very fine pen (g-pen or a .05 lead for mechanic pencils)
