  • wow ... how long is that thing, seriously? Must be doing 60mph by the time the back end leaves view and it takes forever for that to happen...

  • what is that on the roof @ 0:21 ???

  • @PatoStereo some sort of air stability thing or something?

  • As the train goes faster and faster you can see aliasing ie. the windows seem to

be traveling in the opposite direction of the train.

The term aliasing refers to the distortion that occurs when a continuous time signal has frequencies larger than half of the sampling rate. The process of aliasing describes the phenomenon in which components of the signal at high frequencies are mistaken for components at lower frequencies.

    From India

  • wow its pretty slow

  • Yup, they have TGV, which has an operational speed of 150Kmph and runs for around 10 to 12 hours. Technology my dear friend can give you speed but it takes a LOT to run a hugh network efficiently and cost effectively. How much time does it takes to criss cross france?? It takes 4 days to do the same in india. Can TGV do that with a cost of less then 2$ per person??

  • Hey Jamess, A typical indian train carries more then 600 passengers, 400 tonnes of goods, runs for 3 days at a stretch, gives jobs to more then 1mill ppl. Indian railways has the biggest network of rails and is biggest railway managed by a single management.. Match that with the bullet train and you have a ferrari in front of a truck trailer... Wish your country could attend that feat.. haha!!

  • You mean "attain that feat", don't you? I'm not denying the fact that Indian Railways employ more than 1 million people. It is the second largest employer in the world after the People's Liberation Army (PLA). But you seem to be saying that just because something is large it cannot be efficient. The French railway company SNCF may not be as large as Indian Railways, but its network is pretty diverse, and its trains (especially the TGV) are incredibly modern and efficient.

  • The trouble with your country is that Indians are bad at managing things.I mean,ANYTHING. In the recent Bombay shooting rampage, your commandos took 10 hours to fly from Delhi to Bombay.Any other country would have had commandos stationed at every city. The Japanese are incredibly good organisers and managers. That is why despite being nuked twice in WWII (something that did not happen to india),Japan is now lightyears ahead of India in technological terms.

  • Your point about PLA being the largest employer in the world...not agreed. Your got your facts wrong. You point about mismanagement in India...point well taken. Your point about Japan being way ahead of India...agreed.

We are developing, although, true that are so damn slow.

  • Yeah

India, did not exist before 1947 because they were ruled by the British (mostly East India Trading company)

the british didn't develop india as many indians would have liked to

the british only used india to get raw goods and screwed the country, And, guess what? I'm not even Indian, I am a U.S. citizen

  • @akshaykumarstar, your username suggests you're Indian. You may be a US citizen, but that does not make you an American. A passport is just a piece of paper. It's blood that counts. In my country (UK), there are plenty of Indians and Pakis who carry British passports, but are they REALLY British? No, I don't consider them as one of my tribe.

  • @jamessmedley82 you are a sad strange little man, and you have my pity

  • @TahreyUK Gosh, I don't even remember writing that comment.

  • i live in america and i would love to ride in that realey i mean, who wouldent? i think it would be fun to go 200 mph+

  • First world Japan and third world India.

  • If only this type of transportation became available in the US. Roads would have less cars, price of traveling would drop, too bad we're too dumb for that.

  • look at NC3D's videos, he has a lot of California Highspeed Rail vidoes, no only if we can make the dream come true in the US

  • of course America is going to have this, we can expect this all over America in 10-20 years. I mean what technology has the U.S. NOT taken from other countries so far lmao.

  • I hope you are right, but American's love their cars too much and hate funding public transportation. I don't hold out much hope.

  • @jeffus AMERICA IS GOING OUT OF OIL, SO EATING IRAQ NOW, BECAUSE VERY ECONOMICAL CARS NEEDS FUEL :DDDDDDD

  • @RandomentalTV Japan, stop slaughtering endangered whales !

  • @RandomentalTV America is going to fall behind on technology..trust me

  • @jdspds yeah but americans and japanese are different people.. americans like driving 4x4 and pick-ups japanese like riding 300km trains that get u there in a second rather than 9 hours and hunderds in fuel cost.

  • ive been on that!!Its the Nozomi Shinkhansen u can really feel the force as a nother shnkansen passes u!AMAZING!

  • You are not kidding! They are very very impressive as they fly past the platform.

  • Tell Me the speed of this BULLET

  • From wikipedia:

Since the initial Tōkaidō Shinkansen opened in 1964 running at 210 km/h (130 mph), the network (2,459 km or 1,528 miles) has expanded to link most major cities on the islands of Honshū and Kyūshū with running speeds of up to 300 km/h (188 mph), in an earthquake and typhoon prone environment. Test run speeds have been 443 km/h (275 mph) for conventional rail in 1996, and up to a world record of 581 km/h (361 mph) for maglev trainsets, in 2003.

  • Thanks to Youtube for providing this kind of videos

  • Well, after vaporizing hundred of thousands of people there, the United Stated paid to rebuild their infrastructure

  • dont call em japs.

the war is over call them japanese

  • Sorry Japanese. They are way more advanced then the U.S for sure. Anyway I drive a Nissan.

  • I was on that train

  • its really long. see the front car already arriving on the other track. lol

  • Hahaha, hilarious! I was like, "Wha?"

  • YOU ARE VERY FUNNY!!! !SO FUNNAY!!!

  • We need these ultra-fast trains in the USA connecting all major cities... like YESTERDAY!

  • i thing the train is 1 km long

  • good

  • Minimum 8 cars, maximum 16.

  • Freakin' fast and freakin' long.

  • get them in Britain, would solve all the cramped seats... could have half a carriage each :P

  • Sweet

  • damn i thought it never ends

  • heell yes! lol
