Actually, Trigun was made before Hellsing, so if anything, Alucard was inspired by Vash. I suggest doing a little bit of research next time. That took me less than 30 seconds to figure out on Wikipedia.

In trems of design Trigun was animated out of an attempt to mimic U.S. Superhero comics (Nightow the Trigun manga author is an avid US superhero comic book and action figures addict) where as Hellsing had no budget because Studio GONZO was working on Final Fantasy Unlimited around the same time

@amyrat151 is right, trigun came before hellsing did. i'll admit i didn't research it because i just really didn't give a damn, but i wasn't trying to call this show out for plagiarism against hellsing. I said that because I had just got done reviewing hellsing, so i went in the order of reviews that i made, not the release date for the shows. it wasnt until after i made the episode that i realized how it sounded.
yes vash looks like alucard from hellsing but trigun came out before hellsing so I like to think alucard looks like vash. but I will agree that vash does have keshin's personality

I think there are some other fundamental differences between Hellsing and Trigun. Vash is a very different character than Alucard.
