@gamer360100 it's all personal preference. They all have their own pros and cons. I have the mechanical version of this gun and a dp g4 and I love both. If you want to shoot huge volumes of paint and fast then get the g4 or mini but if you want a bullet proof solid marker that you don't mind tearing down to the bone and cleaning every once in a while then get the trilogy. Autocockers are great guns and so are g4s and minis but once again it's all personal prefrence.

@JerryLawsMartin There's actually a different version out there, the Trilogy Competition Black Select Fire - it comes with a vertical feed that screws on. I assume that there's probably something you can buy to upgrade the feed neck on that one. AFAIK all of the other trilogies (including the original pro) have feednecks that can't be upgraded.

I feel like we pick up the same el cheapo markers around the same time, like when you picked up that ICD marker. I picked up a pro with the original mini kaner barrel set for $75 not too long ago.

I own Trilogy SF pro(angled Reg)people talk shit like theyre not as quality as they used to be,and in some ways thats true.But an E-Cocker for less than $299 is crazy good value,hell I got mine from Actionvillage brand new for $180.15 & 18 BPS ramp modes.Also If you desire to upgrade it Palmers Pursuit has an udjuastable LPR & upgraded valve,throw a CP reg or one of your choice and you'll have a hard time finding another marker that will match the Trilogy SF in accuracy,speed,price,& reliability

so i got a trilogy sport i have had it fot about 6 months and it has never had a good shot it sucks they only go like 20 feet i have timed before then like a hour later it isnt timed do you think it will have that problem if i turn it into a pump

If your regulator is turned down too low = not enough air, or the hammer spring is weak not releasing enough air again. It could also be timing where the bolt starts to open before the ball is actually shot, releasing air up feedtube. Or sear bolt setting too deep causing shot to be released at the end of the trigger pull when all other functions are going on. Or it could be the cocking rod on the bottom screwed in too far which while cocking, it actually catches the hammer before full impact

Is your bolt in upside down??? The hole where air travels through the bolt must face down. Regulator turned down too low?? Timing is number one, but if sear bolt is too deep, you will never get close. Loosen sear bolt till gun won't cock without air. Now tighten half turn and see if it cocks. Once it cocks, give it another quarter turn. Loctite on everything with cockers... Once sear is set, move on to timing. You want hammer to release at the very beginning of trigger pull, and re-cock at end.

with alot of work you can. you need to get a new 3 way fitting, an electronic frame, board, eyes, and valve. which would cost alot more than buying this gun brand new on first call paintball.

if your not going to be playing every weekend i suggest paying a little less

I would get a smartpart sp-1 blackheart if your going to be playing strictly in the woods

or a vibe blackheart if you'll be playing woods and some airball

then get a nice hopper like an empire or a rotor

and get a nice carbon fiber tank 68/4500

and if you don't already have a nice mask get one of those too

you can get the old style vents for great prices and they are still one of the best masks

get a ninja 68/45 tank, empire procphecy (id go with the prophecy but if not go with rotor), and a vforce profiller or grillz( you could also go with the new sly profit mask, dye i4, ect) and get a nxe pack( or anything empire would be good, Dye packs are ood too but a bit pricey.)
