  • Wesley Snipes...ever pay your taxes?

  • @TheMagmagoblin GOBLIN, ever get a life?

  • um you edited out the passenger 57 review wondering what siskel had said.

  • Illllleeeeegggggaaallllll Mmmmmoooove.

  • Oh, I am ready for my close up, Mr. DeMille!

  • Fun? His jaw rotted out from cancer

  • Ebert is a pile of old dog shit

  • It will be a fun time when ugly Ebert, who is rotting, finally drops

  • I will admit, I too crave 10,000 pounds of cheese on a cracker.

  • Where's Siskel?

  • wait a second? The Core features 'Unotainium"? isnt that what they're trying to get in the bore that is Avatar?

  • Ugottabekiddingium - I have to get some of that.

  • i was in the middle of megaman x lets plays then this came up and i must say i watched all of it and liked it

  • @ClementJ642 You should make a video tribute for Michael Phillips and A.O. Scott. Or perhaps even Christy Lemire and Ignatiy Vishnevetsky, the new hosts of the show on PBS.

  • I LOVED how ebert says "What did I say" to Roeper almost like he's challenging him lol

  • think somebody spiked your popcorn

  • ROEPER IS THE WORST MOVIE REVIWER EVER!

  • I feel as if Roeper is unnecessarily snide at times, you know? Gene had an opinion on things and could be sharp-tongued but I feel like Roeper just goes for the obnoxious approach a little too frequently

  • Pancakes? Pancakes!! PANCAKES!!!

    No pancakes!!

    *does karate kick move*

  • At around 5:49 Roeper almost calls 10,000 B.C. a "piece of shit," but stops himself.

  • I can't believe they actually liked 'Passenger 57.' Of all the infinite number of 'Die Hard' knockoffs, that one was the most ridiculous.

  • 5:45 he almost said piece of shit, look at his lips.

  • 9:24 WHAT!!!!????

  • Rofl Illeeeeeggaaal mooooooooooove as he goes like this.

  • Ugh... of all the great game music, you pick that annoying Tails Adventure tune. Lame.

  • Michael Phillips is great.

  • @Ingratiateful Him and AO Scott should have been the FIRST choice to replace Ebert & Roeper, NOT Mankewitz and Lyons

  • are you TRULY glad i enjoyed it?

  • i love cabin fever. waht is taht muuuuuusic? "alway's bet on black!"

  • "Jessica Alba is a pretty girl. That's thumbs up."

    Epic.

  • "Thank you, Dr. Nature." LOL

  • LoL, Roger basically gave a thumbs up Alba's butt!

  • Michael Phillips is funny but his actual movie reviews seem way off base

  • Unobtanium (From "The Core").... did Avatar steal that name? Nice video.

  • @flicklefish No its the name given to substances or materials that are unobtainable. Like when the police give the name John Doe to a man who they can't identify.

  • @jakespick Really? If that's true, I'm surprised Cameron didn't take the time to come up with a more clever name for his "substance". Thanks for the info, though.

  • I like Michael Phillips, he seems to be more loose, i like how he likes film for entertainment values. For example he said the best film last year was Up, which I agree fully, he said it was not only a great film in the story and artistic department but also in the entertainment department. I hate when people take films to seriously and just can't seem to relax and enjoy a film.

  • Watch the very first 'Fun Times with Siskel and Ebert and Roeper' that has the Pancakes part seen at the beginning of this video.

    The 'Pancakes! PANCAKES!!' is HILARIOUS!

  • Ebert forgot one other science flaw with The Core: Our Earth is hollowW We all know theres a second mini sun down there, with giant humans, giant plants and trees, and where the dinosaurs went when the top gave out...right?

    ...RIGHT?!

  • Totally saw that Cabin Fever clip coming at the beginning.

  • Passenger 57 was hilarious garbage.

  • "i was trying to guess what candy he was eating by the sounds he was making" LMAO!!!

  • Haha crayons and juiceboxes. I don't know why people give Richard such a hard time. He was funny.

  • I liked him myself

  • Unobtainium. Wasn't that in Avatar?

  • Ebert is perverted.

  • ly hilarious.

  • @PalidonofGuns no he is a man a man who has the same thoughts as every other man who saw this movie

  • "Never back down" is "no country for old men" compared to this piece...

  • I have an idea as many of Kevin Smith's movies he directed & The Lost World Jurrassic Park especially the line Siskel stuns Ebert with, you can even add the bit where Ebert was shocked for eight seconds and the best response would be from of all things Christopher Lloyd from Suburban Commando "I WAS FROZEN TODAY!"

  • wait a minuete... did they say that in "the core" they reffer to a thing called unobtanian... AVATAR!!

  • Unabatanium is a reference to something MUCH older than The Core. It's a scientific 'in-joke' for odd mineral compounds.

  • Invented by Isaac Asimov

  • @juliuswhiteman

James Cameron didn't invent Unobtanium. It's a scientific phrase used to represent something impossible.

  • @juliuswhiteman unobtanium is actually a real term for an unidentified resource

  • i saw the core in my 9th grade science class

  • 4:30 - one of the all-time great Ebert quotes.

  • cut the mario music, really annoying!

  • Richard said "pecs" (as in pectorals).

  • It looked like Richard was about to say shit at 5:46.

  • @wolfpack2013 i noticed that too. haha

  • Godzilla

I'd love to see that review.

  • Phillips must be consistantly high. Apocalypto was epic!

  • OK, I think i'm going crazyyyyyyyy

when Roeper was reviewing (into the blue) he said that "this movie is srarring Alba's butt, and paul's ??????" i couldn't ever hear what he said ?! Paul's backs ?? if he said that, then what it could mean ?

if any one heard right what did he say, then PLEASE TELL ME.

  • pecks

  • thanks a lot. you realy cleared that up for me.

  • You should also check out "Passion in the Desert" and "Shattered Image", two movies that were so bizarre that the Siskel and Ebert reviews were pretty much eloquent variations of "WTF?"

  • You should also include "Baby's Day Out."

  • ebert at 4:31 XD

  • The game

    full metal jacket

    war of the worlds

  • 16 blocks

  • See Spot Run - very short review, Ebert is terrific.

She Hate Me - possibly Roeper's best reaction ever to one of Roger's favourable reviews.

  • You should do "3 Ninjas Kick Back" in the next video.

  • I've just seen one of the funniest Siskel and Ebert reviews in a long time. It was their review for "Two Moon Junction", a ridiculously goofy sex melodrama. Everything they say about it is golden.

  • btw, you should definitely do Bratz eventually

  • New just broke that A.O. Scott and Michael Phillips will replace the Bens for the next season. Awesome.

  • that's awesome! I never hated the Bens as much as everyone else did, but Scott and Phillips were always two of Richard's best co-hosts when he was on the show.

  • Thank god. I've never seen two more boring people than the Bens.

  • holy god, Roeper has a mustache in the first part.

  • Armageddon

    Analyze This/Analyze That

  • Actually, search Youtube for "Siskel 1983," "Siskel 1984," etc. and you'll find older stuff that's not on available the Ebert & Roeper website (it's from the previous show that Siskel and Ebert did not own themselves).

  • They have a funny exchange regarding 'Date with an Angel,' which came out in the late 80s.

Also, see if you can find the 'Krull' review, which isn't on the website (too early) but has been posted on Youtube more than once.

  • Star Trek: Generations

  • Here are also some more to add: The War Corpse Bride Little Nicky Lost Souls Just Visiting Along Came a Spider 102 Dalmatians Clifford The Vanishing (remake) Sphere
  • Comment removed

  • To be fair, Ben and Ben are becoming a bit looser with their reviews now that they've been doing the show for a while.

Their review for I Love You, Beth Cooper and Transformers II was particularly funny so they're showing steps in the right direction.

  • I disagree, the Bens still sux imo

  • With part 12, you should go for some more classic Stallone cheese:

    Cliffhanger

    Judge Dredd

    The Specialist

    and so on....

  • 88 Minutes

Alvin & the Chipmunks (the live action one)

    Rush Hour 3

The Fast & the Furious (the first one)

    The Mummy 3

  • Please keep making these amazing videos!

  • Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

  • Thanks for posting these videos, man. Simply awesome.

  • in the next video you should put their review of Dune. its not on their site but its on youtube

  • Here's a great suggestion I watched just now; S&E's review of 'We're No Angels.' The last ten seconds or so are just terrific.

  • "You'ved got to be kidding" eum? LOL

  • one of my top 5 hated movie Cliche's SLOW MOTION FIGHT SCENES.

  • Agent Cody Banks

Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London

  • You know, I don't actually find Mankiewicz to be that bad - he knows what he's talking about in terms of film and can string a sentence together quite well.

It's Lyons that's the problem. And oh, what a problem.

  • Damn, Roeper needs to get a shave in that first scene LOL

  • I recommend The Hottie & The Nottie for a future video.

  • According to Roger's website, Richard Roeper and Michael Phillips are coming back in a new show. YAY!!

  • Also, CaptChaos: where on Roger's website does it mention this new show? You got me excited.

  • It was in the section called "Thumbs Up Reviews" in the first paragraph. The next day he took that information out. Must have been some pre-production issues.

  • Aaah "Into the Blue" was so great to jerk off to.

  • joe dirt

  • Once again makes me realize how much better it was to watch Siskel and Ebert. They made a very good team and were the best. Roeper isn't really very bright and is kind of a smug and overly sarcastic punk, as can be seen just by this video. He gets annoying over time.

  • I see your point, but I like Richard, but I keep noticing how whenever Michael Phillips and him disagree on a film, Richard will say something like "I see your point, I know what you mean" stuff like that, almost like he's afraid to totally disagree with him

  • Roeper isn't bright? He's not a genius...but he's funny and has great moments.

Great critic to watch. I wish Roeper/Phillips would have carried the show. If itwent on longer, I'm willing to bet they'd have their fair share of battles.

  • Yeah, but he gives thumbs up and thumbs down to movies for all the wrong reasons. He gave thumbs down to Wallace and Gromit because it was too long (which it wasn't!) he said Spongebob Squarepants was for kids on drugs and he gave thumbs down to Lord of the Rings because he thought it was boring!

  • That's your prerogative man. He's not only person to find FotR boring and not the only person to find W&G wrong. It's all opinion man. Maybe you didn't think it was too long or LotR not to be boring, but he did.

And just to clarify, I think he gave SBSP thumbs down because it was only appealing to small kids. He was just pointing out why he thought older people liked it and that had nothing to do with his opinion on the movie.

  • 2 Fast 2 Furious

  • Judge Dredd

    Underworld

    Stealth

    Assassins

    Waterworld

    Double Impact

    The Day After Tomorrow

    Godzilla (1998)

  • fakey?

  • House of D

  • Also add "Gone In 60 Seconds".

  • Also please add, "Timecop".

  • The end of their LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK review is a must.

  • BTW, Michael Phillips was very good on this show as well. I would loved to see Roeper/Phillips continue the show.

    "The Luxor Hotel, absolutely." lawl

  • Don't know if anyone has mentioned this one but the review for "Renegades" was quite humorous.

  • Another excellent video, as always!

  • Roeper looked rough in the first clip!

  • Death to Smoochy

  • Hollywood Ending

  • The Country Bears

  • Curly Sue

  • Check out reviews for Blind Date, 88 Minutes, The Blue Iguana, The Specialist, Robocop 3, Curious George, On Deadly Ground, and 50 First Dates. All pretty funny in my book. Particularly On Deadly Ground.

  • Michael Phillips makes a very funny remark ( to me atleast ) at the beginning of the review for 88 Minutes...check it out

  • Roeper is really annoying with his "ARREE NEXXT MOOOVIE" schtick at the beginning of every review. But other than that, it's a good video! I don't care what anybodys says, I definely like the music in the background of each clip.

  • I love your videos! Here are some reviews I think you should consider for the next batch:

    1. Date With an Angel, and then the end of Teen Wolf Too because they continue their argument from before.

    2. The Blue Iguana (one of their biggest disagreements ever--I can't remember if you featured this one before).

    3. Pootie Tang

    4. The Village

Thanks and please keep these videos coming :)

  • This would be enjoyable to watch if it wasn't for the stupid music in the background.

  • Okay you did Into the Blue and Kickboxer 2 which leaves:

    Robocop 3

    Return to the Blue Lagoon

    Waliking Tall

    Big Momma's House

    London

    Curious George

    3 Ninjas Kick Back

  • Thanks for including Michael Phillips in this. He was the last great critic on this show now demolished by Ben and Ben. If people don't know who Ben and Ben are, then they must think that the show is off the air. At the end of this month - great news - the dreadful "Reel Talk" with Ben Lyons' incompetent Dad, Jeffrey, is going off the air - we think - like a horror movie killer that never dies.

  • you need to use North, thats their funniest

  • OMG it is funny!

  • hell yeah i love you for posting these videos. keep on going

  • you should do there north review, apparently they really hated that movie.

  • "ILLLEEEGGGGAAALLLL MOOOOVVVEEE!"

"I think somebody spiked your popcorn." Haha I love these guys.

  • Ah, you used 'Passenger 57', thanks. That just leaves:-

    Fatal Attraction

  • great video, Clement!

  • I don't know if you have used a clip from Siskel and Ebert's review of Barfly, but there are some great exchanges in that one.

  • Another great addition to the series, Clement!
