i just got back from beijing. it's a dump, i've never been to any city that even competes to new york. toronto is very nice however.

I was in Shanghai 15 years ago, now cars outnumber bicycles. Amazing.

From my hotel window, I counted 21 or so construction cranes and they worked building day and night.

From my window, I counted nearly 200 people within my sight of view on average. Amazing.

Sure enough my host said if I returned in only 3 years I wouldn't recognize the place. I agree after seeing the pictures. Amazing.

It looks like they have a Master Plan and stick to it. They look organized. Amazing.
