I've known many of the coaches that have come and gone at SP, the superintendent at SP is a close family friend and attends the same church we do, and I know many of the parents and players as well. I can promise you without a shadow of a doubt that there is no recruiting at SP nor steroid use. MSHSAA keeps all of that in serious check. So back off!!! Go SP!!!!

I was at SP k-12. Played football with the Jerry brothers and a few others a couple years. It hurt a lot to see the streak come to an end but Meridian deserved that win. They just out played us and left it all on the field. Congrats MHS!

They averaged nearly 50 points a game, and averaged giving away less than 5. Didn't allow a TD until the 6th game of the season. No to mention they stomped 3A Champ Louisville 35-0 at Louisville's Field

I saw both Meridian and Noxubee in person multiple times that season. After that Wayne County game, Meridian would have stomped Noxubee, and it wouldn't have been close. That said, before that game, Noxubee might have been able to beat Meridian.
