hey Brian ive been looking to get a set of sheptone strats for my new fender custom shop pro stratocaster. right now it has those samarium cobalt noiseless, which to me, dont really have a very vintage strat tone im looking for. its a really nice guitar. should i get the AB customs or the standard strat set like in your 69

Both are great depends on your preference.. I am diggin the Standard Set for my 69...

I did a few tracks on a Latino Pop record with it but it was very long in the tooth and needed too much TLC to keep her sounding good...

cant belive the sound! i just got a quote shipped to the uk and there a bargin! just sounds to good to be true!! for the price they sound a hell of a lot better than most fender custom shop pickups, im definetly getin a set for my usa standard strat, and throwing out the shity fender scn,s i have :0)
