US military bases will have to be defended, the US already has good defend systems in place at these bases. But your right they will be at risk.

Any American attack on Iran will be against their nuclear facilities and military bases it won't be an attack on civilian areas e.g. towns, villages etc...so hopefully if any attack ever happens there will be low civilian deaths.

Don't think for one second that Iran can win or withstand the US they can't. That is fact.
