  • Go Golden Girls.

  • I wish you could of explained the helmet lights... :/

  • Ive built halo armor i can just never get the degree of detail of yours im so jealous. but great tut

  • lol 1:51 NIPPLE LIGHTS!!! :D

  • Great tutorial man, much appreciated.

  • hey where you get you halo suit

  • @Xxjocker650xX he makes it

  • My nipples are glowing thanks to you.

    Fantastic tutorial!

  • Halo-ween?! Goddammit I thought I came up with that

  • I've been on the 405th website so many times and it doesn't make any sense. I've went through the posts and forums of what people say and make, yet I can't find out how to make my own armor. Man it's tough. Wish someone I knew could make it for me.

  • @Brutaka10 Its really not that hard to make. It takes, time, patience and money but its not "hard"

Im sure you can find somebody to make a suit for you, but it is not going to be cheap at all

  • put multiple colors and be A HUMAN RAVE PARTY!!!

  • You're very cute! If you're looking for a girlfriend here I am =D

  • omgt thank you but can't i use hot glue and do you have take some parts of the little lamp off?

  • oh man, last time i used superglue with gloves, i glued the gloves to my hands because the glue dissolved them :D

  • Holy freaking crap this is brilliant!!!!!! I was thinking of all sorts of crazy expensive ways to put lights in my armor! Thank u! Your the best!

  • can i buy this from you? i have 75 cash dollars... i can pay today

  • Compact....disc? Haha good tutorial Adam you rock!

  • Word of advise...use a dab of hot glue and a qtip to place the lens without risking your fingers. After the superglue sets, peel off the hot glue.

  • (Holds up CD case) You see these? (Epic Face) CDs?

  • if you were to color the disc the same green that you used for your armor, would the light be green too or would be just covered so light would not get through

  • thanks for the video dude, i've been wracking my brain for lights. i bow down to your clear thinking

  • Amazing tutorial! Your sense of humor is awesome haha you make learning FUN!

  • Thanks a lot adam, this tuto will be very usefull for my armor :D!

  • lol the song at the end is epic!

  • lol the song at the end is epic man!

  • rofl love the song at the end man! Epic!

  • Glad you made this tut Adam. I've been wondering how to do this.

  • Dude love your work man. Btw, the video quality is awesome, what kind of camera are you using?

  • halo reach armor sounds nice

  • Adam I have a question

What do u use for the face visor for your Master Chief and ODST helmets? What do material do u use for your guns and where can u get all of these things at? Please help me out, I've always wanted to have a Halo armor suit.

  • puras mamadas ya estan grandes para esttas mamadass por eso no progresamos por gente estupida que se alucina en cosas que no existen bola de babosos jajajajjajjajajja emmoooooossssssss

  • A great tutorial would be on how to attach faceplate to helmet. That's a killer that I know has to be easier than how I did it

  • hey man, already did this to my jun build. thanks for the tip!

dollar tree is your friend ;)

  • Adam,

Take me in as your brother

  • i wish i could get halo armor before haloween, but im still working on my marine helmet TT.TT

  • my bday is october 30th i was born at 11.45 at night i am gonna turn 13. so amped right now. ps u are greate

  • Nice Ring!

  • Huh, I was expecting something involving Radio Shack stock, soldering parallel circuits, and careful voltage calculations to draw from a central power source. Of course, I am still in a cooling-fan-installing mentality. :)

  • Adam man, you better have a vid or 2 or 3, etc. for when your at a house party or Halloween Bash downtown. Or in our case here in St. John's, Newfoundland on George St. Downtown, Mardi Gras.

    Good stuff man.

  • why dont you buy the LED flashlight rings? 4 for 1 dolla

just hafta buy alot since in a pack theres only one blu one and one whitish one

  • Light up nipples? AWEDOME *no homo*

  • @gametavern . Nice fx you showed us there. hmmm, i like the new camera. whats the name of your camera

  • hey sick videos... i think you should make a cheap version for the ppl on a budget... i know it wont be as good but still fun

  • @kyle44422 If you are just counting the lights, then this is the cheap version on a budget. If you are counting entire armor suits, well, the crafter's axiom applies:

    Speed, quality, price. Pick two.

  • hey adam great to see you post some more tutorials. btw i looked at the 405th forums and i still can't find a way to post my pictures

any way good to see ya

  • shout out to the UPS driver

  • you should noble team suits

  • Weeeellll, looks like i'm gonna need...

    **puts on sunglasses**

    a new pair of pants

  • hmmm... I've been trooping the wrong way this whole time! Thank you for showing me how to correctly troop :p

  • "Ya nipples"

  • ahhh such a long time! welcome back adam! \o/ yeah

  • I love me some Mr. Grumbo in 1080p!

  • dude i tryed all this by makeing it out of paper by useing a program and i could not get hte sizeing right i read so much up on it and watch a good bit of videos but it seams everyone doesnt know how or doesnt have a good video idk

  • @bcdhalo Sizing is a little tricky since there is no standard measurement that every author sticks to. Unfortunately, your only real option is to print out something, try putting it together, and if the size is wrong, then figure out how much bigger or smaller it needs to be and adjust the scaling in the computer accordingly.

  • @FearlessSon Dang that sucks i wonder if you can make pepukura work in inches, ill check that out and get back to yall

  • @bcdhalo Oh, it is not so bad. You can scale the object so that it is X many inchs from one side to the other, but even that is not always enough to determine. There are a lot of things about the perprotions that are hard to predict on the computer, and building and testing it is still the only reliable way of fitting it.

  • @FearlessSon dang that sucks a lot, theey need to make the program better!

  • @bcdhalo It is not the fault of the program. The issue is that an average 5'10" person does not have the same kind of build as a 7' super soldier like the Master Chief. Even if you scale it down to your size, it might look ill fitting, taken directly from the game assets as it is. The point is that you will always have to do a little modification when you build it to make it fit just right. Every person has a different body, and no one is the Master Chief.

  • @FearlessSon oh true but idk it should be easyer :p

  • @bcdhalo It is a truism of costuming that no awesome costume is ever easy, and Halo costumes are no different. Indeed, part of what makes the costumes so impressive are the fact that they take so much time and effort to do well. It is not just the fact that they look good, but that they are a monument to the craft and dedication of the person who made it.

The more you work, the better it looks, and the more satisfying it is to wear it.

  • @FearlessSon very true

  • wheres walter

  • great tutorial man, great tutorial!

P.S. how do you join the 405th?

  • great tutorial man, great tutorial!

  • Yay!!! Thanks Adam! Welcome back, and congrats on wedding.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh

    he is back!

  • Wait, so he's alive?

  • CDs? damn i feel old

  • i can light up my nipples?!?!?! AWESOME!!!!!

  • sexy men

  • Great idea.

I used that idea last year for my Halo Helmet.

  • I remember CD's lol

  • cool

  • I used frosted plexi glass for my defuser :P

  • @spartan5566 What I find better and cheaper is those light covers with the ruff bumpy side. Its easy to cut and a large piece only cost $5

  • westaby! :D great tutorial!

  • Hey Adam make more tutorials on armor

  • @lukep126 working on it.

  • @gametavern Adam's can u pls make me halo armor

  • Or you could use some cheap LED's from your local radio shack with some carbon resistors and 9V batteries with clear hot glue to diffuse the light =D Great tut by the way.

  • but in the foot too not only on the part of the torso

  • Yay, finally a Halo armor vid :D

  • You cee deez?

lol - that actually made me laugh

good to see you back, man :)

  • just like to say welcome back and also are you going to put them on the legs also

    haha

i started my suit a while ago and kinda have no job so its hard to resin it up and bondo

    how is the site doing?

  • Thanks Adam for giving us the LED tutorial! :O i'll try to use it for my armor... :D

  • Awesome innovation! btw, what camera do you own?! It has superb quality!

  • thanks Adam!

  • I can tell that the current setup works fine as it is, but maybe you should try and grab some cheap LED lights and a couple of 9 volt batteries and solder / tape them together in a simple circuit.

It'd just help reduce any uneven pressure given from the suit when sitting or what-not.

  • @xero993 or just some coin cell batteries... then it would lay almost completely flat.

  • YEAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thats pretty damn ingenious man! I'll be adding them to my suit for sure!

  • I really should get back to finishing my armor...I just lack the motivation...

  • Adam's last name is actually MacGuyver

  • @mclen14 AWESOME!!!!

  • @mclen14 stalker

  • Dude i missed your videos thanks for posting another one keep emm coming 8D

  • Cool mod, thanks for the quick tut Adam!

  • wow awesome haha :D

  • Thats really sweet dude. Isn't there another light on the back though?
