its turrican 2 ! just with added shitty enemies an music. guess its the closest il get to playing turrican 2 on my megadrive though i got mega turrican which is awesome but i want earlier titles to god i love old school games makes me relive the 90s all over again lol
@plus154 It's called "The Great Beath" Chris Huelsbeck, from the Turrican 2 soundtrack. You can find lots of covers here, and the original from the Amiga version of T2, here on youtube.
Turrican 2 is better BUT i grew up with this version.This game is just Turrican 2 with a Marine skin and the music is only remade to 16-bit music and the third stage and the motel one is replaced.The T2 Version had i think 2 or 3 stages where you fly with battle ship ...and Universal Soldier is lot easier and good.i give it 4/5
I'm suprised how much of Turrican 2 is intact - the levels and quite a few of the enemies. Even the soundtrack is an okay replication of T2 on the Amiga. So I wonder why they chose to "rape" T2 for this, and A. Not convert more graphics or B.Make their own damn game or C. Just port T2 over properly.
Then again, Turrican 1 apparently turned out quite poorly on the Genesis, so that might've discouraged them.
is there fucking anywhere i can listen to level 6 full song? everything is just hacked speed run which i love to watch btw ive watched over 300, it's just annoying that u cannot get games like this with full soundtracks, only big games like streets of rage/sonic etc
@deedia i like this 'seems to be easy' touching anything that moves in the game damages you basically, any genesis game that involves 'bosses' is a piece of piss if you watch the speed runs.

I played Turrican II and i preferred original. Universal Soldier seems to be to easy.
