I wasnt sure what the reaction would be like to this video but to hear that you could really feel what I was singing makes me feel like it was acceptable for me to perform this song and the shivers as well, thats always a good sign :~) The story behind the song is just soo sad and terrible. To think Billie Holiday actually had to live and suffer through the evils of this time.

@pippy5babies Thank you very much Pippy! I can't really go much higher than what I did here. I can go into a weird, quite child like, gentle head voice. On some songs I use it. It's in my lower range though that I think my voice has its best qualitys. Id love to one day have lessons. Im certain that I am doing things I probably shouldnt be with my voice, that is damaging it in the long run. Thanks again Pippy x

@DIVAKaiWilliams You'd be amazed at what the human voice is capable ofbut it takes a lot of hard work. I hope to start posting my own songs soon but not as confident as you yet. I dont think you will damage your voice at your range and if you enjoy, fantastic. xx

@SakiJune Thank you soo soo much for your nice words. Im lucky that my mother adored Billie's music and would always be playing her songs around the house. It is a shame that not many people now are getting the chance to hear Billie Holiday.
