He could've made use of Syd if the stupid Doogie didn't have to do his interview and Bridge didn't go all Columbo on him. The thing is that Morgana gave him the wand in the very beginning but the subplots ruin any meaningful service that Syd could do. If it would have been Rita Repulsa she would have made Syd evil for an extended period of time...Syd is the hottest pink ranger.
If you want to see nore mind control/hypno vids specifically from Power Rangers in the later years check out Ninja Storm: Beauty and the Beach pt2 and Dino Thunder the missing bone pt3. I'll be honest the only reason I watched PR in the later years was because of the villians. If the main female villianess in any recent series didn't gel with me I didn't watch.
