  • Sounds like A Cummins, but I could be wrong.

  • I love this bus sounds!

  • True. The 4000/4100 series flxibles are my favorites.

  • The way the DD50 sounds, it's exactly like a 1996-2000 New Flyer D60HF from NYCT! It just has a V-drive tranny....

  • @ENYoriginal or a repowered D40HF from CAT (Las Vegas, NV)

  • yeah these sound like they got alot of power but i like the way the flxible c sound the best

  • Does anyone have any video of Flxibles with the S50/Voith combo?

  • copy and poaste this.... this vid migt have it.NJT Flxible Metro D # 1967

  • No NJT Transit Flxibles have Voith transmissions. 1967 has a Zf tranny.

  • No....NJT Flxible Metro D #1967 had the DD S50 to a ZF 5HP-590 V-drive :)

  • I believe Pittsburgh had S50/Voith powered Flxibles as their first batch for Flxs in 1993-94 (the second batch was S50/Allison).

  • yeah, thats a DD series 50...

  • not bad at all...

  • Same kind of powertrain as some TMC and NovaBus RTS buses.

  • I wonder how this bus would have sounded if it had the M11 or the L10?

  • like crap, this is what a true Flxible sounds like in my opinion.

  • I agree.

  • on what route was this?

  • I'm liking this also! soudns just like PATs 95' Flxible Metros
